@@TastyGuitarcom My electric guitar will be delivered in a couple of days and then I can get down to the two books of licks I got from your store. (I've been trying my best on a 3/4 sized classical guitar until now). I'm looking forward to 2021.
I took a nice couple on a test drive to show them how everything worked on their new Camry and the radio started playing a Jimmy Smith song. I said, “You probably don’t know who this is but as a teenager Ma bought me a box of used records to play guitar with. Guys like Clifton Chenier, Otis Rush, and Johnny “Guitar” Watson. Bur this one cat, Jimmy Smith played the organ like he had 8-arms. The lady laughs and says to her husband. “Should I tell him?” “Please do.” The wife asks, “Where are you going to be on Thanksgiving?” It being February I says, “My parents house. Why?” She said, “My Uncle Jimmy Smith always comes to my house for Thanksgiving. I’ll get him to call you.” I give her my number and promptly forget all about it. Sure enough on Thanksgiving Dad says, “ There’s some guy named Jimmy on the phone; he says you’re expecting his call.“ Sure enough it’s Jimmy Smith and he was the nicest guy. -Invited me down to see him play at a swank Jazz Bar in a posh Philly Hotel. Truly a gifted man...
Thank you for this super lesson. Your lessons are original and very interesting. Your lessons are exactly what i like in guitar playing. These double stop remind me a lot of Kenny Burrel playing. It's so funky!
@@TastyGuitarcom If I could afford lessons, I'd be on it! Sending you business is some returned value for all of the free content I've consumed. You're doing a great job and you're a good teacher on top of your great musicianship.
@@TastyGuitarcom All of the EH keyboard-type pedals track really well imo (I've got the C9 and Key9, too). Like a lot of those type of pedals, the better your technique, the better they respond. I'm sure you'd have no problem there!
you can now get the entire TAB collection for all my vids, this one included, just by adding your email at tastyguitar.com at the bottom of the page or the pop-up
