    I haven’t seen really any videos on the moxy line probably because of the price point. When I watched your video I was saying in my head “that’s way to much!” But you have super long hair and my hair is at my ears. 😂 Thank you for the review!!

      I know, it's too expensive for what it's worth in my opinion. Like I said, there are so many better shampoos and conditioners out there that you can get from Walmart, TJ Maxx/Marshalls, etc. Hahaha oh yeah, I use a lot of shampoo because of how long and thick my hair is 🤣 I don't wash every day, and I usually don't shampoo anything after a couple inches off my scalp, and in this video it's definitely more than I use than when I'm using other brands. It just didn't lather/spread well at all! 😫 I hope the review was helpful! 🥰

    Really interesting, I appreciated the side by sides! I use a dandruff shampoo during the winter, so I understand the dryness. Too bad that the fragrance didn’t stay! Having good smelling hair is so luxurious!

      For sure, the more moisture I can get into my routine both for hair and skin, the better! Agreed, we love are good smells here! 💐🍭

    Oh no! My hair is about the same length as yours so I buy a big container of shampoo and the Moxy one is small. Your hair pre Moxy looked great! I might want to check out Native😊

    • @MelissaC
      @MelissaC  Рік тому +1

      I like how this review ended up accidentally being an advertisement for Native...Oops! 🤣 But it's true, it just suits my hair type so much better, so if you're a similar length/thickness, you'll have to try it out! I'm currently rotating between Coconut Caffeine OGX, Gummy Bears Native, and Honey Whole Blends and my hair seems to do much better on those three (and they all smell amazing which is important to me! ☕🍭🍯

    Hi Melissa! Thanks so much for the review 😊 It was very helpful! I have wavy to curly hair, so I'm thinking about giving the Moxy Curly Hair formula a try. Have a great week ahead 😊

    Oh no! The moxy definitely made your hair look dryer 😢 like kaela said it was funny seeing you use so much forgetting your hair is triple the length of mine 😂❤ I like the packaging but I don’t know if I’ll ever try it out. Thanks for your review Melissa 🎉 I have super dry hair so I won’t give this a try 😊

      I know, I did a hair mask and leave in conditioner yesterday after washing with the moisturizing formula of Native and the ends are still feeling crispier than usual! 🤣 A sacrifice for the scientific experiment I guess! LOL
      I know, it was a lot of shampoo haha! Even more than I normally use when using other brands because the lather on Moxy is lame in my opinion! Sorry, not sorry Moxy! 😅

    I've never used Moxy before. It just doesn't appeal to me. I love how Bath and Body Works was trying something different but I think they should make shampoo and conditioner with their signature scents. I know they made hair care for Gingham and A Thousand Wishes a year or so ago and they sold well. For my hair I use OGX Coconut and Caffeine and Dove Deep Mositure shampoo. Those work for my hair and leave it smooth and looking good. Thanks for the review!

    MOXY flew under the radar so quickly after launching in Oct. I keep forgetting it exist, lol. Getting your hair dried out by Moxy products kind of defeats the purpose of the "no SLS/SLES" slogan since sulfates has a bad rep for being a harsh cleansing agent. I noticed several reviews on the website for the "straight hair" line complains about a film residue and getting increasingly more brittle. My theory is that the film is accumulating and possibly preventing the hair strands from being able to absorb moisture
    I'm currently using First Botany Tea Tree Mint Shampoo & Conditioner from Amazon. It was $28 at the time. The shampoo is one of the gentlest ones I've ever used. The conditioner is decent, but a bit lacking (it tames my frizz but my hair still tangles easily). Using a hair serum post-shower is the only thing that keeps my hair detangled. I don't really have a holy grail shampoo & conditioner. I want to venture into shampoo and conditioner bars once I finish all the liquid products.

    Wavy here. For me, volume in my hair means puffiness, frizz, and ultimately is a symptom of dryness. My waves respond better to silicones, because they tend to keep moisture in. So, on the fence with the Moxy line. 🤷‍♀😞 I'm always on the hunt for my Holy Grail haircare. I would be willing to try Moxy for Wavy hair if the $$ was right.

    • @MelissaC
      @MelissaC  Рік тому +1

      Oh that's interesting to know! I didn't know that the silicones can help retain moisture. Right now the conditioner I'm using is the coconut oil OGX, and even though it's drugstore brand my hair looks and feels so soft after using it! You'll have to let me know if you end up finding something you love!

    Ive heard Moxy has alot of alcohols in its formula that dries hair out. Ive used Redken for years and now also use Biolage. I can't use OGX because the scents are too strong for my allergies. I have fine straight color treated hair that leans toward the drier side these days. 👱‍♀️🧴🫧
