I've been high round-count testing an optics cut suppressor ready Dagger for a while, and it definitely has more barrel protrusion than yours. I was still getting some strikes of the suppressor piston on the front of the guide rod but apparently it wasn't bad enough to cause any reliability issues. Still a bit disconcerting though.
@@OreGear Yep I did just a few mags to confirm the impacts and then stopped shooting it suppressed. I THINK it's fine but I don't want to break anything by being an idiot.
I'd like to say that I hate your channel (because of the financial implications 😅). I cannot. You're one of the few that aren't pretentious or full-bore edgelord. I really appreciate your down to earth reviews and will continue to recommend your channel. Thank you for taking the time to do so. - Please stop reviewing NFA stuff, it's jeopardizing my marriage 😂
I built a Frankin-Glock pistol, out of the Dagger slide, Faxon barrel & a Poly 80 Lower. Runs like a champ. At a 3rd of the price, compared to the Shadow Systems pistol. Thanks for the share!!
The dagger slide actually works with the p80 lower? I been seeing a few people say the slide sticks sometimes. Also how much was your build? I wanna build one.
Thanks for the review. Nicely done! As far as holster fitment goes for the Dagger, I'd venture to say that a light bearing version of a Glock 19 holster should work, since it takes the trigger guard out of the equation.
PSA is really on a roll. The dagger is a really top notch pistol especially at the price point it is. It's my current carry pistol along with the 507c that I bought from your store and man I tell ya it's hard to miss with that thing. Keep up the good work.
Awesome! Thanks for making this followup vid and going in-depth on the barrels and using a suppressor. I made a comment on your other vid about using a Liberty Cosmic with the Dagger. You should contact PSA and tell them to give you some commission $$, because this video just sold me on the PSA Dagger.
T.O, just picked up their blemished sale complete frame. Feels real good in the hand. Looking forward to completing it. And getting some rounds down range.
I only made it to around 500 rounds but my dagger ran flawlessly. I did end up selling it off though. It’s undoubtedly more ergonomic than a normal Glock but even still I found the grip to be far too thick and chunky in hand. And I’m 6’2 with relatively large hands. On compact and smaller guns I just prefer them to be more slim. But I was so impressed with the gun that I’m considering getting a full size g47 sized dagger frame and slide. I wouldn’t mind the thickness of the grip on a full size gun.
AJ, sounds like the G43x or G48 would be a great fit for you. With the Shield arms all metal mags. It'll get you back to 15+1. I have always had issue with my hands shape and the angle/profile of Gen 1-3 Glocks. The Gen 4-5s with the back strap option cleared that up. But the 43x and 48 models fit my hand great ( 6'1" and a normal sized hand ) and they also didn't have the same sight alignment issue I found with the larger G19/G17 models. Good luck with it.
@@mot0rhe4d40 Shoot I just saw this friend. It’s funny you should say that though as I actually just bought a 48 mos maybe about a week ago. I’ve always been mildly interested in the 48 but once PSA started releasing their new 15 round magazines I was sold on it. Plus I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be able to buy guns here in Oregon anyways so I figured I might as well do it now before it’s too late.

I would choose the Dagger over a lot of the other inexpensive options out there. And when you consider all the aftermarket support for Gen 3 19s. It just solidifies that thought.
Thanks for your review. I just bought my first dagger. Same as in your review, Compact with threaded barrel. Mine has the tritium sights. Love it so far with only a couple hundred rounds through it. Currently waiting on my stamp for a Rugged Obsidian 9 that i have high hopes for. Thanks to you and your in-depth knowledge, i now know what to look out for if i experience any feeding issues. 👍

Your videos are excellent and I am very happy I subbed a couple of weeks ago-- You yourself are knowledgeable, the information & experience you provide is top notch, and (more importantly, imo) it's dependable. I'm currently doing research on this pistol for a friend, and have come to some similar conclusions-- especially after your "Broke to Boujee" series: imo, PSA is an honorable company to begin with, but has worked hard to improve ALL of their products-- including this pistol. Not only am I ready to fully endorse this pistol for my friend, I now can't wait to get one for myself
I bought one of the daily deal complete slides for our Dagger and when it arrived noticed the barrel was different than what came in my original Dagger. I think they've been making rolling changes. In our case it's a different finish and crown.
Recent sub, you do a bang-up job brother! You have me almost sold on one of these (even as a HUGE 1911 guy) as I am a big fan of PSA- all my ARs are PSA. Use to have Glocks but sold them all years ago as I just couldn't handle the abysmal triggers. Only thing I'm hung up on with the Dagger is not being lefty friendly enough. Leaning towards an FN 509 instead, but we'll see. Keep up the good work!
I just got mine recently, and I have been having issues with my slide not locking back on the last round. Using Glock and ETS mags. 115 blazer and 124 blazer.
I’ve had issues with ETS mags in the past, but if it’s doing it with Glock mags as well, you might reach out to PSA. It could also be the way you’re gripping the pistol. I have friends that grip Glocks in a way that it prevents the slide from locking open reliably.
@@OreGearI think that I am having issues with my guide rod/spring. When I disassemble mine I notice it is not the spot it should and has slipped down quite a bit.

What brand of holster do you have? Was the holster made for the Dagger? Do they have a paddle holster? Do they carry a owb holster?
