Hi! Uhm..I don't rly make comments on the YT outside of droppin' some 💛s, so gonna apologize up front for all these too many words I'm probably about to make but here goes -
I watched this earlier this morning, then came back to watch it again before making this comment. Mostly wanted to say that I really like this topic and it resonated pretty strongly. It led to some introspective thinking on my part and I'm looking forward to sitting down to chew on that a bit later. So I guess, all that to say great work and I hope you keep it up!
Otherwise, as recommended, I checked out the Michael Kirby album you mentioned - Shoulders Carry Honor…and wanted to give a great big thank you for shouting it out. I listened from start to finish and loved every second of it! Excited to spend more time there and really get into what he and the other artists you've recommended are all about. NGL, I live under a rock and am very late to the learning and using the YT ecosystem regularly, but am grateful for channels like yours that recommend new music and artists as I'm not well-versed at finding music on my own esp now that I don't Spotify anymore. So yea…I guess that's it, many kudos to you and appreciate the effort.

Of course an artist and teacher values artistry and teaching more than average. That's why you picked those careers! If I didn't value electrician work I wouldn't be going to be an electricians apprentice. If my pops didn't value inferstructure, he wouldn't be a civil engineer. I'm glad you're doing what you love, hadji!

This video really helped reinforce the idea I had to become a college prof for music or smth similar after I do some good as a recording mixing or mastering engineer. I went to college for it and alot of profs are contract who are just people who worked in the industry. I also need to fix up some bad habits and mental stuff before I could but this vid helped a lot

Hey man. Loved this video, I feel like people haven't been talking about the Dare enough, he's not perfect but he's funny.
Also, you should check out Trapo, INTERNATIONAL MATADOR, and Mid-Air Thief. All of these are pretty underground and different from each other but I discovered them recently and they seem like something I could see you cooking up a video on. (Trapo makes underground rap and jazz rap and his best work is the LP Oil Change, INTERNATIONAL MATADOR is a multi-genre collective and their best work is ASYLUM VOL. 3, and Mid-Air Thief is indescribable but Crumbling is fantastic.

@@hadjitubeI don't like matador as much as the other two but yea for sure check them out, they fr haven't gotten the attention they desrve. Oil Change by Trapo and Crumbling by Mid-Air Thief are my favorite, surprised to see that Trap hasn't caught on even with rateyourmusic and aoty cs ik they would eat him up. (Same w matador tho)
