Should they be banned: No since inanimate objects do not cause harm by themselves but people with ill intent do. A brass knuckle is just a piece of metal that go over the knuckles nothing more and nothing less 🤷🏻♂️.
Where I live knuckle dusters are forbidden. Covered by no less than 3 separate paragraph descriptions in the penal code by material used. Making a minefield for anyone trying to research the boundaries of the law. But put a blade in a similar configuration and I haven't found a paragraph in the penal code beyond general restrictions in concealed carry of fixed blade knives. But given the mess that is the state legal code I could have missed something.
Very well said! You are absolutely correct! The laws are a mess to try to navigate, and they often differ by not only State, but City or Municipality as well. I'm so glad you are researching your own local laws. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Thanks for another Weapons Wednesday. I guess it's good that you didn't send these to DJ. He often sets his fruit on fire before destroying it. That would be scary to watch if he were using knuckle dusters. The first just seems off to me. When you were showing the dangers of closing, I kept thinking it should be called "Darwin's trench knife." That young people in the suburbs are using them wrongly is terrible. We need idiot control, not weapons control. I sometimes think of ordering the tiger claw as a photography prop.
Hello! I recently bought the solid steel knuckle duster from your website! What is the difference in a solid knuckle duster Vs. the hallow middle section? I know weight is different but does this affect the shock absorption at all for strikes?
That’s a great question! The extra material adds a small amount of weight to your punch, but other than that, it’s mostly aesthetic. The main thing I look for in a knuckle duster is that the palm grip and fingers fit my hands properly. Thanks so much for watching and for your support! It means a lot to me!
Haven't posted in awhile. I've finished my semester for now and passed my classes. Next week I'll see if I can take summer classes if not then fall is the best bet.
It's great to hear from you, Kenneth!!! I'm so glad your classes went well this semester! I'm really proud of you, my friend! Keep up the awesome work! ~ Kyle
I think the problem with dusters is that most people do not hold them correctly. They should never be worn on the fingers like rings. They should be held on forefront of the fingers, mainly so you don't break your fingers. They are designed to swipe with. Great video.
That’s very true! There are very few styles that are made to sit on the hands like a ring, so many people will end up hurting themselves using them incorrectly. Have an awesome week, my friend!
Oh poor Ian. He always getting wounded. Well I'm of the mind anything can be used right and wrong. All we can do is. Use common sense. Thanks for the video. Amanda showed them melons who was boss.
To my knowledge they have been banned for decades but that could depend on what state. That's why on some of these brass knuckles you see that screw-in peg. Many places actually sell those as belt buckles although they could not at all be used for that purpose to get past the legality. They are considered deadly weapons by police. Keep up the good work guys stay safe.
They've been illegal in the 4 states I've lived in for as g as I've been alive, at least 62 years. They still get sold because they're sold as a "paper weight"
They (as every weapon) do NOT hurt people... people hurt people... and as anyone that's ever been attacked for any reason will tell you... they're wishing they'd had a little something for an edge to help defend themselves.... "most people" don't go out and look for trouble and there's (sadly) too many people that instead of working hard and making something out of themselves and benefiting our society they prey on the people that have... and everyone has a right to be able to defend themselves and their families.... sadly too many people are put in situations where they have to defend themselves.... and there's too many laws and regulations saying how and what they can do to prevent harm ... these parasitic people obviously don't care ... and we should NOT have to worry if by defending our way of lives breaks some ridiculous laws defining how we do it
I'd love to see you guys review a 2 inch carabiner as knuckle dusters, they are a great option because they are so common. So they are not perceived as a weapon to someone who is not a like minded person. And with your keys attached their similar to bladed knuckles. And a great trench style is the carabiner knifes/multi tools. They great because you can wear them without deploying the knife and deploy it without taking it off. Also has a bottle opener and glass breaker so it doesn't really need the knife.
@@Karatemart you're welcome it's good that you allow us to keep abreast of the easily available stuff. I do security and it's great to know. A lot of similar items get smuggled in from Europe to here

Making a great team and funny, too!

LOL...that's pretty funny, Gary! I hope you are having an awesome week, my friend!
As a non confronting I'd rather settle a fight with some knuckles rather than a gun or blade
