I appreciate you making your own pattern. Yours is what I’ve been looking for. I wanted something with ties. I don’t have a tool for snaps. Thank you for sharing. I have a great grandson who is cutting teeth and the bibs his mom has won’t fit because he’s a big baby.
One of the cutest and easiest bins I’ve seen here! Thank you so much will be making some of these. I also just started doing 2 piece outfits for my 1 1/2 year old
This is fantastic you are very talented I am a beginner never sewn a thing but I am going to try this project. Best wishes to you and your baby girl on her arrival. Thankyou xx
What a cute bib. I would love to make some for a great-granddaughter, but couldn't figure out how to download the pattern. You've probably guessed that I'm not a proficient computer operator...lol.
Hey everyone, thank you for so much interest in this pattern! Due to the large traffic that the link is getting it keeps getting shut down. If anyone knows of a free service where I can share a zip folder please let me know! In the mean time if you would like the pattern please email me at aubreybarnes27@gmail.com and I will sent it to you. Enjoy!
Hi Aubrey! Firstly, thank you very much for your super cute tutorial on the baby bibs! I’ve tried to download the pattern from the link in your website but it won’t work for me?. If you have time could you email it to me please? You’ve inspired me and I can’t wait to get creating!!!! 😍 (I tried emailing but the email is bouncing ! Technology fail 😳) Also thank you for your breast feeding tutorial too!! I’m now 38 weeks pregnant and have just ordered a pot of the earth Muma butter you recommend !! Thanks for the tips !!! (Your little girl is gorgeous !!! ) Much love!! Fiona xx 😁 xx
Sure thing! Enjoy! I did not prewash my fabric. It's totally up to you. When using a dark color on one side and a light on the other it might be a good idea so they don't bleed when you wash them together after it's made. But I didn't go to the trouble. Good luck!
The string was some kind of trim I got from hobby lobby in the ribbon section. I probably used about 12 inches of it on each side. Which is plenty. It's enough to tie a bow when tieing it around baby.
They have washed well for me... However, I cut the pompoms off once my baby started chewing on everything because I was worried about her get one chewed off and choking on it. I would recommend a different trim for really small babys.
Beautiful bibs! After downloading the file, I get a message that the file folder is empty when I click to open it. If anyone else has encountered this please let me know how you fixed it.

I felt like they held up just fine. There did come a point though when my little one started chewing on them. So I snipped them all off so she didn’t choke on one.
Yeah totally! You would need to lengthen the top a bit so that the ends reach each other around the babies neck. I would add 2-3 inches of fabric to the top for the velcro. That's a great idea!
It seemed to have stop working at 3:38. I really wanted to watch because it amazing and I'm having a girl, but it's not working, its acting like it trying to load, but I've been waiting 5 minutes and looked at ur other videos and they all worked great, but this one seem to just stop.
Hmm that's weird. I just watched it through and it seemed to be working fine. Maybe try again another day or with different internet? Also try with a different browser? You can also follow the link to my blog in the description. I go in to pretty full detail on the blog as well. I also have the video posted on my blog so maybe try watching it over there? Hopefully you can get it to work. Sorry! Good luck!
I used this thin batting. Warm Company Batting 2322 Warm & Natural Cotton Batting-Crib Size 45"X60" www.amazon.com/dp/B000YQKDE8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_CI0uDbD0E9RXN

I used cotton quilting fabric I had on hand. You can use whatever you'd like though. I think a flannel, or knit would be nice and help absorb liquids. Knit may be a bit hard to work with though because of the stretch. But really anything will work.

THANK YOOOOOU!!!!!! 😃
Hi thank you so much for this tutorial! I would greatly appreciate the pattern as well. My email is crystalboothe87@gmail.com. Thanks again!! ☺️
Wow looks fantastic. What is the name of the cord you use to tie around the baby's neck?
I'm not really sure the name.... I got it In the ribbon section at hobby lobby. Homes any ribbon would work. 😊
Muchas gracias
hi, we're you able to print the pattern?
these are so cute thanks for the free pattern!! Do you pre wash the fabric??
Sure thing! Enjoy! I did not prewash my fabric. It's totally up to you. When using a dark color on one side and a light on the other it might be a good idea so they don't bleed when you wash them together after it's made. But I didn't go to the trouble. Good luck!
What's the length of the white string?I think it's piping cord.
The string was some kind of trim I got from hobby lobby in the ribbon section. I probably used about 12 inches of it on each side. Which is plenty. It's enough to tie a bow when tieing it around baby.
@@blushblossoms677 thanks so much...just notice your reply!!!!!
Tried to download the pattern and hit the website and it DOES NOT take me to your pattern 😣
Do these wash well? Being something that will be washed a lot do the pom-poms survive the wash?🙈
They have washed well for me... However, I cut the pompoms off once my baby started chewing on everything because I was worried about her get one chewed off and choking on it. I would recommend a different trim for really small babys.
Instead of using the strings would clasps be ok instead or is the string much better?
You can use whatever's you'd like. Like the tie ones because then my baby can't pull it off. I had some velcro ones and she always ripped it off.
Hi there, does the pattern include the seam allowance?
Beautiful bibs! After downloading the file, I get a message that the file folder is empty when I click to open it. If anyone else has encountered this please let me know how you fixed it.

How did the ball fringe do after a few washings?
I felt like they held up just fine. There did come a point though when my little one started chewing on them. So I snipped them all off so she didn’t choke on one.
Instead of a string, could I use Velcro using same pattern?
Yeah totally! You would need to lengthen the top a bit so that the ends reach each other around the babies neck. I would add 2-3 inches of fabric to the top for the velcro. That's a great idea!

Love the shape, but the balls are a choking Hazzard.
How long did you cut each bibs cording?
I think I did 12 inches? I honestly don't remember sorry!
What material did you use for the middle of the bibs as in the inside part
I used this thin batting.
