I love the pick backless dress. The twist dress is actually cute too. The last one is not my style, but would be a beautiful prom dress or quince dress for someone who loves girly or pink. With the right hair and makeup it could be elevated how Cardi did.

For girlies that are also balling on a budget for prom, I got a lovely dress in the dress clearance section of one of the main prom/pageant dress places in my area and there was a clip coming off when I got it, but the owner sewed it back on the spot for free. It was under a hundred dollars but didn't look like it was bought for that price. If not, place like where Hope is donating her dresses are super good and no one should feel bad about not being able to afford super expensive dresses for one night.

500 for a prom dress?!?!?!?!? That’s outrageous. Girls who spent $80+ on a prom dress were considered expensive , that was 2004.
I didn’t go to prom because it was too expensive but I went to another formal high school dance and my dress was $14 at Ross.

Hey, if you ever can’t zip something up and you’re alone, get a safety pin and put it in the zipper hole, and put a string through it. Then, you can grab the string and zip yourself up. This has helped me a lot of times :)
Or use a hanger, the material is thicker than string so when you pull it the zip is less likely to break

If you are buying most of these dresses in a size 6 and they are pretty tight, maybe trying a size 8 would fit you better. You have a lovely body. Don’t let a dopey number on a dress own you.

I thought the whole “needing help zipping dresses” was just a romantic type thing in movies. Recently I found out that most people can’t zip their own dresses. How do they try on dresses when they shop alone, then? I had no idea. I’ve always been able to zip my own dresses and unzip them. I ask for help when I’m lazy. lol!
i can zip my own, but takes around 10 minutes of fiddling & tugging on the material lmao
Same here! Just zip it behind you as much as possible and pull the dress up till you can grab the zipper over your head? Def can't do that in gowns though 😅

Great story about prom dress :D I actually buy mine for 40 euro and when it came time for wedding dress I went even lower - bought it at Orsay in sales section for 20 euro. Both were beautiful dressess, I kept them for years as a memorabilia. And it was not an issue that I wear it only one time, since they were so cheap (but only in price, actually the material and seveing were great, I could resell both of them but I did not).
