PLAY is the best clipper I've ever used personally the size and feel in hand is perfect
What other clippers have you used?
@@scizzahands instinct, rebel, onyx, senior, numerous aliexpress machines literally everything, this is quieter, lighter, smaller and you can't get nothing else like the shape. it's like a smaller magic clip with the rubber its good
Now that’s sounds good.. if it hit 9000 rpm’s I think I would order one after hearing all that 🔥
@@scizzahands lots of clippers have higher rpms, the instinct, all magnetic clippers for example, it doesnt mean they are a better machine
I never said it made them a better machine .. but magnet motor isn’t really a good description all motors are magnet driven.. I’m attracted to the vgr with its 7500 and 9000 rpm settings because from my experience they seem to cut much better especially at 9000rpm when dealing with with bulk, really thick hair and the weekly clients that get skin fades. 🤷🏼♂️
ive had my tpob play for about a month best clipper ive used in the last 8 years of cutting

I have a play it is a great clipper my opinion but I also have this vgr also a great clipper and it's 50$ that's what my boy is trying to say... Word of the day PREFERENCE....

ive had they play for a month and it went out on me definitely not even close to the vgr the plays are trash
My co workers XO clipper were returned because of the faulty charging while on the charging stand, just like yours.
Wow yea amazing that I’m hearing in forums and from others in my comments but no other UA-camrs mention this issue 🤷🏼♂️ thankfully my other one out of the two I bout is still working
What do you think about the Style Craft Apex?
Have no thought on it I will have to go take a look at it generally style craft to me is way over priced but I’m completely satisfied with their trimmers they cut great.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion , for me … but TPOB PLAY. Is hands down amazing for the price and performance as a second clipper . I change between SC instinct X and TPOB PLAY.
Your absolutely right it’s all truly opinion we all have our own cutting style.. obviously this is just my opinion based on what I already own to pass on it and wait for what’s next to come. I’m glad that the change up worked well for you. It’s all about what gets us excited to preform our services and get this money 💰🦾💈🚌
i would pickup VGR in a heartbeat if it had a brushless motor 😅. have you seen the white stormtrooper TPOB X deluxe?
I’m convinced it is brushless both of my vgrs have the same type of sound but are way more quiet than my TPOB xos … I haven’t seen them but to be honest I usually stay away when they have gimmicky color ways. It’s a type of hype slash selling point the steers me away. But I will take a look
is there ways to tell if the motor is brushless? i’ve seen on different sites that states it’s a magnetic motor and a rotary motor 🤦♂️
@@samlee458 that’s what I’m seeing as well .. but i believe there is no way to tell if a motor is brushless unless you open the motor .. but I could be wrong
The lower the rpm the smoother the fade. I just got my pair and only use it for fading and hair .. also it speeds up when hitting resistance good clipper 😮 in my opinion

vgr v003 is king the only con for me is that the leveler doesn't open that much
Love mine I have 2 .. but I feel like the lever opens a lot but I guess that because I used to use Wahl magic clips
I think the slower speed would be good for detailing. Slower speed would allow u to finesse out dark spots without taking off too much hair. At least that’s what Imma use it for.
I feel that especially for kids but ive had no problems with the typical speed . But Ive enjoyed the faster rpm’s in many use cases

I got both, recently got the play, it honestly feels cheap af tbh the vgr feels much better quality. Tpob quiet and all that but it's super super light and I personally like a little weight to my clipper I'ma do sum cuts with it but I might return it. 😂 also the clicks on the vgr way better feel way louder way more positive, tpob you can barely hear the click and 6000 rpm ... you ain't cutting shit lol the 7500 about average for a clipper so you aint getting nothing special the vgr winning so far imo 🤷 oh and bro the vgr trimmers you ordered put the psycho blade on the youre gonna love them amazing trimmers, also bro if you could pick any clipper what you rocking with ?
Bro I love hearing that I’m not the only one who feels this way .. and the VGRs are killing it for me I started off the year with the TPOB XO clipper and gamma cyborg trimmer .thats what I been rocking with and been good but once I got the vgr I haven’t pick up my XO .. and I’m still super satisfied with my cyborg trimmer I love that thing

Sounds like I don’t own a jrl and comparing it to what I have. They are all meant to preform the same task. Right or wrong ? .. clippers get compared based on how the cut and their specs nothing else. They don’t have to look the same.
