Goat of clippers. The simplicity of the logos is dope and the colors are what you notice about the brand. Also he wasn’t tryna sell the clipper for too much. His goal was to keep the price low. Great value for the price you pay, easily a steal man
The power + smooth lever is 🔥🔥 Which guards do you use with them? But that’s true it’s distinctive of his brand. Also when are the red / blue grip sleeves available?
I agree with you on the pink and green. I like “normal” colors like black, blue, white, silver or gold.
If they dropped it with black, white & green then dropped blue red & pink would’ve been crazy

I grab my Blue FX One, Gamma Cyborg trimmer & FX one shaver of any color is the best (haven’t tried the Stylecraft new shaver yet). Anytime bro thanks for watching my videos 🙏🏽
Using the first speed is like using the Wahl Magic Clip. Essentially it’s for fade finesse.
Minus the staggered tooth blade and slower rpm makes the clipper “Magic” 🪄

@@cutsbycoastyes! Gamma makes a ceramic staggertooth but you gotta find a place that will ship it to the US and if they do it’s like $20 shipping on top of the price of the blade
The premium guards that come with the XO clipper doesn’t fit on the Play. The clip part doesn’t stay on. But the babyliss & wahl premiums do
I haven’t tried the Wahl yet but i had to use the gamma magnetic ironically lol
I have those also but u gotta mix those up with the tight guards cause the 0 is too big
What’s better this play or the metal instincts clipper??
Play is half the price & 2-3 times quieter. Metal instincts can fit all guards & come with double magnets vs the plastic jrl guards. Instincts 11,500 rpm vs play 6,000 & 7,500 rpm. I like the instinct better but there’s several factors. If you have anymore specific questions that can help me answer feel free to ask bro!

The play is similar to the JRL 2020c with a different body shape.

Definitely similar, for the fact that he didn’t copy bevels shape it feels better in hand.
I agree, way better than the JRL, not sure why so many people like them. Only answer the guys at our shop give is that they’re quiet lol

I use both speeds. High speed for bulk and fast finishes, low speed for detail work with no guard. @@cutsbycoast
Chan the barber said the slow speed is better for clipper over comb I guess
