Honestly what I adored about the first game was just how accurately they created the region the game was set in. You could line up the ingame map with google earth and it's identical almost. All of the towns are real places recreated 100% accurately, or as well as they could. It really did feel like going back in time to medieval Bohemia. There are numerous side-by-sides from the game to real life locations and it's just wild

That is pretty amazing! So does the world feel big in that respect?

@@LibanAli Yes, it feels very lived in and dense. Like a small section of our actual planet not like a lot of game worlds. I'm sure the map isn't huge but it definitely felt it. Plus from what I recall there is no fast travel so getting around by horse or on foot takes its time lol. The game is just so in-depth it's pretty wild. You literally need to learn how to read if you want to. Because, of course, a peasant can't read lol.

The combat in the first game is definitely a bit janky and something you have to learn, but you are playing as a peasant who has never had to fight with a sword before so honestly it feels right lol. The focus is hyper realistic, so don't expect to be able to fight more than 2 people at once without getting your arse handed to you lol. Its definitely a high learning curve but feels very satisfying once you get a hang of it.

Yeah I understand lol. Janky combat usually produces the funniest results

Literally one of the best games I’ve played was the first one. Not for everyone but it was a full life experience 😂
