They’re missing a good one. In January 2010 the Vikings played in New Orleans against the Saints in the NFC title game. Minnesota had the ball late in the game in field goal range so they had chance to win the game and advance to the Super Bow Their QB Brett Favre made a terrible decision and threw a pass that got picked off, costing them an opportunity to win the game in regulation. The Vikings play by play announcer had a melt down after Favre threw that pick. Anytime someone mentions angry commentators, that’s the first one that comes to mind.

@FaceAway-xb9hd oh yeah as a Saints fan it's burned into my memory as we won the superbowl the next game! But I was sweating as we had the #1 offense and top defense all season and we didn't let opponents score much on us, but Brett Favre being the all time great he was(and he was having a spectacular season) was not making it easy for us! However his nickname wasn't "The Gunslinger" for nothing his career was known for just heaving the crap outta the ball even if he shouldn't have and right on cue he shouldn't have😂😂😂 it was our toughest game of the season we even won the SB pretty handedly after some adjustments.

@thegoat4617 his wokeness and constant need to put athletes down in order to compliment another one is what killed their ratings and is why ESPN constantly has to keep making budget cuts and getting rids of employees. That's why they desperately hired the McAfee show to help save them because half the country didn't bother turning on espn just to hear about LeBron and the Knicks all of the time. It turned into a repetitive gossip show more than anything else and athletes were getting sick of it and had to start branching out to create their own platforms. Mainly to be able to speak for themselves when people like Stephen A create false narratives for clicks. Stephen A knows basketball, and that's it

Dana was pissed that he paid CM Punk millions of dollars to come in from WWE, gave him an easy fight that was delayed for a couple of years because Punk was old and getting injured training for the fight, and when the fight finally comes, Punk gets absolutely embarrassed. Dana was upset that not only did this kid come in and embarrass Punk, but he was out there freestyling on him, which made Punk look amateur and embarrassed Dana even more because he paid s much for him. Dana wanted to fire the kid on the spot for it.
This is the same Dana White that was upset at a fighter using an asthma inhaler in between rounds, and said that if the guy couldn't breathe then he should've just drunk some water.

The fact that they're using refs and umpires these days is absolutely astounding with how many bad calls they make on a regular basis that are instantly proven to be the wrong call, only seconds later, watching a slow motion replay, yet they still go with the ref over the solid proof. I understand that it's tradition and a long standing part of the game but it's so bad that you can't help but think some of these morons are taking money on the side.

The baseball ones are usually good because those baseball broadcasts are only broadcast locally. Baseball teams play 162 games a year, so the vast majority of a team's games are only broadcast on the team's local region on a regional sports network. Each team only plays a handful of games televised nationally each year. Every team has their own regional sports network, so the broadcasters are paid by the team. So they can be biased and let their opinions fly in a way that a national broadcaster can't.

Oh, when Dana White from UFC was talking about the guy fighting CM Punk, well, CM Punk the former WWE and AEW wrestler tried to break into UFC and... some wrestlers are good at MMA. CM Punk at the stage in his life that HE was in, was not. To the point where Dana White considered it an _embarrassment_ to the sport that Punk lasted 3 rounds against a guy who claimed later on that he was just scared of leaving an opening and LOSING to the man. I mean the man CM Punk was before wrestling, Phil Brooks, was a bouncer, and he can manhandle people 40 pounds lighter than him, but not in his own weight class. So Dana White thought it was a disgrace that the guy had chances to finish Punk off and didn't.
