cw: brief mention of suicide
Everything Everywhere All At Once is a stone-cold masterpiece, but people often overlook DANIELS' (the directing duo of Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan's) debut feature, Swiss Army Man. Together, the two films represent a profound and radical philosophic framework for a deeply humanist universal empathy that transcends the farting corpses, hot dog fingers, and googly eyes.
Let's take a look at the career of DANIELS and what makes their films unique, powerful, silly, and truly lasting.

What a lovely line from you.
I watched eeaao and it was absolutely amazing and then i watched swiss army man and i connected to it on an even deeper level. I also love how both movies explore love beyond heteronormative ideals. I wish there were more videos about both movies and i wish your video had more views! Im so so excited to see what the daniels do in the future
Wow… your last lines about "caring"… goosebumps…
This is a great analysis of the film. I'm amazed you could look at the film so objectively - I could barely stand up straight after I viewed it.
YESsss, thank you for perfectly expressing the Daniels' fim aesthetic-Blending the sensibilities of 90s movies with the DIY of the UA-cam generation. Perfect!
I hope "Everything Everywhere All at Once" is at least nominated for an Oscar for editing and screenplay. Not to mention for directing and directing. And that's not to mention to nod that Michelle Yeoh also should get.
Ke Huy Quan's performance was also amazing; he communicated which version of Waymond was onscreen entirely through body language.
5:06 - 5:16 Feels great going back to this line in hindsight, don’t it?
This was wonderful. Happily subscribed and look forward to more
Love this video ahhh thank you for putting into words just how wonderful and meaningful their cinematography is
I kid you not, I’ve been working on a couple screenplays for about 4 and a half years now and one of them is almost exactly like this movie. Seeing the trailer to this freaked me o because it’s so similar to what I had in mind, a sci fi, comedy horror about an individual given the ability to travel to parallel universes/dimensions, much before this came out or it’s trailer. I’m a Daniel and I want to be a filmmaker. I know exactly how I want to write and film things. I don’t even have to take much notes because it’s all already and stays in my head
This is excellent. Absolutely excellent
Another great video my man!
this was great!!
impress me every time you post
this was beautiful
they are geniuses! Good call!
It definitely deserves to sweep the Oscar's, but, if this makes sense I think it's too good and won't be properly awarded because it's not "right" for the Oscar's
Delightfully wrong, my friend
