Do you make electronic shift indicators? Whenever I take a dash apart I keep breaking the cable that runs between the cluster and columb on older 3 speed automatics.
At 00:38. On the Driver side, where You place the holding plate on transmission, there is No nut there. However mine does, everyone believes it is some sort of adjustment bolt & nut. Everyone that has looked at it, feel I should Not mess with it. It Only has 2 1/4 thread and NO Nut is supplied. Is this the adjustment bolt & nut you are referring to?
Horrible design and cheap as hell. Does not work with C6 without a lot of modifications. Rear mounts do not reach center bracket. YOU CANT !! Put the drivers side bracket on the Band Adjusting pawl. Stupid as stupid gets ! I have installed a ton of Lokars and these junk knock offs. All are not worth the money and time.
how does that brake handle work?
Is it a transbrake of a sort?
I lost all confidence when I saw a cresent wrench being used to install the side brackets. I mean it works but damn
Plus they’re spinning the crescent backwards.
Will this work on a 4x4 manual valve body c6 in a bronco? I can trim the floor of course

Also what about kick down
Did they just pull the band adjustment out of the side of the transmission for mounting the bracket??
yes you cant do it like they did in the video the band adjuster will fall int he pan and you will have no second gear
@@fishinfool63 It is what I thought! However, it is to short, only 2 1/4 treads and No Nut for install... Not that it would fit.
DO NOT REMOVE THE ADJUSTMENT STUD FROM THE TRANSMISSION. PLACE THE BRACKET ON THE STUD AND SECURE WITH THE SUPPLIED NUT.

Why would you put the bracket wear the power band adjustment is....come on...
Because you used a adjustable wrench tells me to move on to something more professional.
Your vid says C6, but your shift knob shows OD,D,2,1... That would be 4 gears. C6 has 3
Correct, it should show, besides P-R-N, D-2-1.
I've never seen anything so Mickey Mouse!!!
