I'm 5 months late, but this is wholesome and nice to watch, I am saving up to buy a SCL500 as my first motorcycle, so videos about installing mods are helpful
So much better than the stock exhaust! The exhaust is the only thing stopping me from getting this bike. It’s so ugly and looks too bulky and out of place, however you’re done a great job replacing it. Now you’ve convinced me to go for it! Looks proper!👍🏽
Liked and subscribed my Man! Got my license last week and got my 2024 SCL 500 this week🤘🏼 Same exhaust as you and it’s a beauty. Also cool you met your wife at blockbuster, I live in Oregon where we have last standing blockbuster that I know of in Bend, OR.😂 You da man🤘🏼
Sounds pretty sweet and u don't have the big chunk of metal up there The pipes in the front still seems like they need something to protect them from the debris if u take it off road
It's a very helpful video! I want to buy the same product, but there is a decibel limit in my country. Does the decibel grow significantly when the exhaust is replaced? If it gets bigger than 5 decibels, sadly I can't install it.
Man, you sold me on the exhaust and the knobbies. Looks so good. Also, what size ammo cans did you use? I've been toying that idea and like the way yours look.
Do you have to get that authorized? In my country we need them to authorize exhaust changes. How do you know of the exhaust is good for the bike? Surely it cant be just the "looks and sound"? I am just worried they would say that exhaust isn not for for that bike...what do I know
Absolutely, though Honda doesn’t make a bracket and saddle bag for the right side. The ones for the Rebel will not work either. After market ones should fit, I have some in order and will be trying them out. Till then I have an ammo can mounted on, you can see it 8n my walk around video.
Unfortunately I am not sure and don’t have a DB tester. I found one site saying “with one user reporting an 80-84 decibel (DB) meter reading”. I am not sure if that included the silencer or not.
Those are 50/50 Shinko 804/805 tires. If you haven’t already, check out my SCL500 walk around video. ua-cam.com/video/0ImcOsR8poE/v-deo.htmlsi=YKdejBncLim25Nm7
Thanks fella, love some of your mods, the ammo cans for panniers are very in keeping with the scrambler aesthetic, I'm trying to find a supplier for the Coffmans exhaust here in the UK

Love the color of the bike and your tire choice but that pipe just don't cut it! It sounds pretty fair but does not go with it at all. But hey we all have our likes and if it works for you than it's the perfect pipe.
I was wondering what this bike would look like with dirt tires . Now I want one even more

appreciate you brother, thank you for taking the time to teach the younger guys what it looks like to work with your hands
i love your videos and i LOVE your motercycles
After watching your video I ordered the coffmans exhaust.. Can't wait to get it..
Nice for your first video. I’d suggest moving the camera in for closer shots of what you actually doing.
For a 1st video you did very well, a natural. Those SCL500's look pretty cool, wish Honda would have used a brighter dash screen like the Cb500x.
Makes it look more like an old scrambler without the rear pegs. I have knobbies to put on mine and you just motivated me to get it done.👍
Congratulations! Nice job. I am looking forward to more videos
Looks amazing, good job bro 😊
Thank you, appreciate it.
Great video, I’d love to see more scrambler content!
Love all your mods buddy! Got me inspired! Ride safe, cheers.
me to.
In my opinion this is the best looking exhaust for this bike great job
Looks better, easier to clean . Smart
Thanks for the tip, I installed one on my SC,L and it sounds awesome

Such an amazing improvement! Gives it a proper neo-desert scrambler look!
Awesome vid, I plan to get this muffler as well!
Wow love this bike but hated the look of the exhaust, great mod man.
It sounds awesome. But I have to say this bike deserves a proper scrambler reroute exhaust setup.
Deserves a skid plate too

Thank you, I’m quite happy with it.
it's so great
looks good, much nicer than the factory one

Looking forward for more mod videos !
Hey! I got this exhaust as well. Could you tell me if your bike now gives off a “popping” sound since installing it?
@@carolinedesigner I have only noticed the popping sound when slowing down.

Great video. Make one for the amo can 😂 take it off and reinstall please
Liked and subbed, good job sir. #FellowScrambler
Hey can you do a walk around of the mods you installed? Like the mirrors and dart screen? It looks amazing!
Thank you. I will be doing a walk around video in the next week or so.

Caufman exhaust installed then is there a bracket for right rear foot peg ?
Now you could put on some sweet leather or canvas saddle bags.
Grea job, I just wish they would make a TFT replacement for the display, its the real downside to the bike.
I agree, size is fine but that brightness (or lack of) is horrible, especially in the Arizona son.
Great job!! What tires are those?
@@SCL500_NYC thanks, those are 50/50 Shinko 804/805 tires.
@@Purplehayes1024 make more videos when you can. The bike looks great
With the lower exhaust is it possible to have 2 saddle bags?
Absolutely, though Honda doesn’t make a bracket and saddle bag for the right side. The ones for the Rebel will not work either. After market ones should fit, I have some in order and will be trying them out. Till then I have an ammo can mounted on, you can see it 8n my walk around video.
the stock exhaust on this honda seems crazy oversize & kind of ugly.. the new one looks great .
.how heavy was that stock part that you took off?
Excellent video, what tires did you install
Thank you. The tires are Shinko 804/805, great 50/50 tires. I don’t notice much difference from the 80/20 tires that came on it at 70mph.
what do you think of this bike ?
Love this bike, normally ride cruisers and baggers but I always look forward to riding this when I can.
What brand and model tank bag in video?
It is a BILT v3 mini tank bag. Magnetic with a removable shoulder strap

Hi. What brand of tires do you have?
I put on Shinko 804/805 tires. They are 50/50 on / off road tires.
Can you make a video. A work around..
I made one and didn’t like how it turned out, so I’ll be redoing it in a week or so.
Do you know how many db does it produce? I’m from eu and don’t know if can fit our policy
Unfortunately I am not sure and don’t have a DB tester. I found one site saying “with one user reporting an 80-84 decibel (DB) meter reading”. I am not sure if that included the silencer or not.

Where did you get your crash bar from?
One off of Amazon. Any of the crash bars / engine guards for a newer Honda Rebel (CMX500) should fit, since they have the same frame.
