Crazy how much needs to be modified to make the bike look even slightly appealing
okay hear me out: fork swap to a Tenere 700 fork (including front wheel), but with just one brake disc (with custom billet triple clamps of course), extend the swingarm by a small amount by just cutting it and welding in a piece of steel tube (easiely doable because the swingarm is not stressed in bending because it's a twin shock bike), put in some Triumph Scrambler 1200 rear shocks, put in an 18' spoked rear wheel with a 140 section tire, install the OEM Honda high front fender and that little screen, make a nice custom exhaust, and you're done with an amazing bike

The mud guard isn’t usually that high up. It’s just for that custom build. But yeah idk
That light won't be enough anyway, if someone really into being a lonewolf in the wild they will add some lights. That's head light is already on older lines of products, in my case, they are almost useless on dark road.
All for show i guess. Even the bar end sidemirrors look unuseable

Scramble with that bike? Your just asking to put a rock or a branch right through the front of that radiator. Scramblers of the 60's and 70's were air cooled and worked just fine.
Its all about the look with modern scramblers. Can you scramble with this bike? Yes, you can. If you are skilled enough, you can even scramble with 100cc semi-auto bikes. But if you are an off-road enthusiast, this is not your go-to bike, we have obvious better choices for that task in this era. This bike is for people who love retro look of old scrambler bikes and dont really scramble it daily to preserve its durability.
@@ducnd95 The CLs of the 60's and 70's were both on road and off road bikes. These are just lookers. They could have built true CL's. I pay my money, I don't want a fake.
@@williamprice3929 the concept of off-road bikes has change. The scrambler design isnt the best for "scramble" anymore. The dirt bikes design is king of "scramble", and if you want to take a long trip, adv bikes are there also. No manufacturer built their modern scramblers for off-road trips purpose anymore (some special cases, they do, and that scrambler will look more like a dirt bike). But if you were able to scramble with 70s cl, you can definitely scramble with modern cl, todays bikes are so much more advanced.
