I watched you video but you missed some points. Both 11 and shoot at 5k60fps, not 5k30fps. So does the hero 10 black. Also, the hero 12 has no GPS, big mistake! The 11 is the last one that does. The 4x3 format in 5k has only 30fps indeed.

I finally bought the GoPro 12 and was super excited thinking it should top my dive recordings compared to other action cameras.. well I ended up with a big disappointed . It overheats, shuts down in middle of recording and seem to not obtain any videos over 7 minutes. I won’t even talk about battery life and how challenging it is to transfer the recordings onto the app or other devices. Been trying to get my recordings of total less than 3 hours for more than 7 days now!!! Returned it.. but don’t want to give up on GoPro as I have heard a lot of good things, but not sure if I should try the 11 .. any suggestions?
I still really like my 11, super high quality camera. The overheating issue might be caused by the batteries you are using. GoPro released these new “white” batteries that work a lot better, I know it sucks having to buy MORE stuff, but they really do make a difference
