The viewers don`t seem to be watching this new era very much though are they.

A new era of zero viewers. He has lost two million viewers since the annivesary specials last November and is now responsible for the lowest viewed episodes of Dr Who in UK history. Young people don't want to watch this show, fans have stopped watching it. No one knows who it is for but the woke media are climbing over themselves to say how amazing this new queer version of the show is, complete with lectures about correct pronoun use and ... literally, musical numbers every week like it's a Broadway show! Viewings figures in the US have been even worse. Over 70% of viewers switched off before reaching the end of the episode. The veiwing figures were worst than the lowest viewing figures of Star Trek Discovery, as show with extremely low viewers which has only continued ot exist by nature of being the most woke and thus mainstream media approved show on TV, although even that is being cancelled.
The sad thing is that after 'season 2' as it's bizarelly being called, Dr Who will be cancelled for the third time in its 60 year history and this time it might just never come back seeing the depths of awful writing, casting and acting it has finally reached. But hey, they made Sir Isaac Newton black, so that's something right? Right? History books, right? ... Hello?

@@atone404 the figures being released by the BBC and Disney don't lie. Sure you're a new viewer, but that means even more old viewers left as the show is down 50% since Gatwa's debut a few months ago, and down 85% since it's heyday when Matt Smith was the Doctor

Yes, a new era sans viewers. Can't be the strident mesaging to blame surely. Who doesn't love being lectured to? especiallty when the writing is so weak it can't distract from it.

It’s how horrible the stories are, and how far departed they are from even the worst of doctor who. I stopped watching after capaldi having been a fan since the 70s. Is this in reply to a hidden comment as he doesn't mention race in this video? He's received racist and homophobic abuse for his casting, and he's allowed to talk about that. The only reason he'd be talking about you is if you say the show's lack of quality stems from his race or sexuality. There's no need to feel targeted.
I agree the stories are just generally much lower quality.
His 'talent' isn't clear at all. Please advise what to watch so I can witness this massive talent he is supposed to have. Thus far I have only ever seen him in bit parts being effeminate and affected, breaking into dance routines for no reason at all and always himself. No sign of any talent.
I would love to discuss why people think this “new era” is positive for doctor who? The standard of quality has dramatically decreased since older seasons and it’s only getting worse. From the writing to the acting, everything seems so forced and predictable. If this is the new era I genuinely can’t imagine many people will watch it. I never leave comments but this show is a massive part of my childhood so to see this major downfall (on par with Star Wars and marvel) makes me genuinely sad. Not because of the identity politics or the inclusion (which has been done poorly as well) but because of the lack of quality control the show clearly suffers from
"Standard of quality" by what metric are you referring? The production quality has never been better, the music is the best it has ever been (and that's a high bar because DW has a history of fantastic music), the set designs are the best, the effects are better as well (even though we always give DW a pass on that).

I completely agree. The chemistry between actors is forced and everything comes across as theatrical which takes me out of the story. Boom was a good episode, but I am sceptical going forward, and mostly disappointed.
@@TalhaMasood Disney often attempts to fool people with fancy effects, which amounts to key jiggling in front of a toddler. The quality has so obviously declined that your defense of it is a bit silly.
@@eyeofrage7025 You should watch Doctor Who Unleashed, Disney is a distributer for DW, The production is done by Bad Wolf Studios in Wales. Wales has been the production home of DW since the 2005 revival. It's not just fancy effects but it's the love and passion of the production team.
Pity he's so racist towards white people (see his recent comments in the press relating to the failure of season one of Dr Who).
Tbf he really hasn’t been particularly racist. I admit the “touch grass” comment wasn’t necessary but to receive hate due to his race or sexual preference (which has happened) is stupid and I feel that anybody would have the same reaction as it’s justifiable.
I agree it’s not good quality but comments about that shit (which are evident) aren’t necessary and bring the rest of the fan base who doesn’t like the shows direction down by a lot
@@formyartproject6604 Even before his era started when everybody who was a fan was happy that RTD was back after Chibs the Destroyer, when everybody still though that Gatwa being lgbt++ didn't have to mean they will change the Doctor's sexuality since gay actor should be able to play not overly sexual or even straight characters as well, and when everybody still had hopes that RTD will retcon the awful timeless children bullshit Gatwa was already making disgusting racing remarks. For example he said that white people are celebrated for mediocrity while "talented" people like him (XD also the ego) are not.

@@eglantinepapeau1582I’ve seen both. Some deserved some definitely not. I think calling him out for his sexual preference (which I’ve seen) is just childish. His sexuality shouldn’t even need to be mentioned. There is SO much else to criticise.
@@formyartproject6604 nothing can be done about this . a lot of people don't like to see gay characters in movies 🤷♀ you can't force them to change their mind, all you can do is lose the as customer , which I think is the true selfish act here . there are so many people working on these new progressive shows and movies , satisfying the public means also paying these people , allowing them to pay their rents , their electricity bills and fill their fridges.
what's more important , doing gay representation for the 1000th time as if it was the 1st , blaming a public they knew in advance wouldn't like what they had to give , or payig the countle writers , actors and other jobless ppl from the movie industry right now ? ( many of whom are gay and back)
the greater good is what matters , the same way pleasing the majority is what matters for a business to flourish . there are ways to represent the LGBT , this isn't it , this is doing the contrary it's making them look bad . the LGBT need to fire all their PR teams and rehire new ones ASAP
