I luv this video. I have four Nishane frags. Ani is on my list for a pickup this winter. But it might have to wait. I have heard of Rosendo Mateu No.5 a number of times but you have just managed to convince me to move it to the top of my wishlist. Where other reviewers left me unconvinced, you have convinced me. I am a man who luvs florals. I know some men are afraid of florals. Good. More compliments for me. Keep up the great word, Brianna.
Thanks, Chesterfield! No 5 was a love at first sniff for me! The spice, the amber, the smoothness of it…so alluring, it just draws me in. You’re very much going to love it if you give it a try. Hello Brianna, ROSENDO MATEU NO 5 has arrived. I have worn it 3-4 times to bed, as it is too hot and humid where I am residing to wear it during the day. I am really enjoying this. Waking up to this in the morning or catching a whiff when I roll over, is something else. It performs very well. I do three sprays to the centre of my chest after my evening shower. I've been loving picking up my shirt 2-3 days later and breathing in this heavenly aroma.
I def get that "sexy condom" vibe and find it quite captivating. It reminds me of Nishane Safran Colognize with respect to it having a unique accord you would not expect to be drawn towards in a fragrance. Where RM#5 has sexy condom, Safran Colognize has a "new glossy magazine" accord mixed with leather/saffron. To be clear, these two fragrances do not smell alike but they both have a very unique yet appealing scent that will set you apart from the normies. These unusual accords make both these fragrances signature worthy, imo.
I'm looking forward to getting more of a full picture of ROSENDO MATEU NO 5 as the weather cools down. I'm really happy I picked this up because it fills a hole in my collection. I've been on a roll with my last several blind-buys being just what my collection needed. The streak continues with RM#5. Thanks again for your recommendation.
My dear CJ, I love your take on Rosendo No 5! Yes, there’s a distinction to it that’s almost inexplicable, yet so captivating at the same time! Now you have done it, Brianna. I just ordered ROSENDO MATEU NO 5. I guess your subliminal message was received. Between FOMO and a lack of impulse control, I am given to whimsy. You had me at "sexy condom" (and I don't know why). I decided to take a long bike ride and walk as a cooling off period to see if I was still stoked about buying it when I got back home. I was. Found a great deal so I pulled the trigger. Some people hang-glide. Some ppl bungy-jump. Some ppl ride crotch-rocket motorcycles. I blindbuy expensive niche fragrances. WHAT A RUSH!

CJ, it’s the ultimate rush!!! Fragrance collecting is such a fun hobby to have (even tho expensive😅). I find myself scrolling through fragrantica on the hunt for new gems daily. Exercise is excellent for sorting through thoughts so it sounds like to me you made a sound choice about your purchase! You pulled the trigger on one my absolute favorites. I got my sample of Rosendo . It smells so much of rubber. Does that dissipate eventually?
The rubber feel definitely blends to a nice vanilla after some time for me! Takes some getting used to, but once it’s been a couple of hours it really shines as a sexy amber vanilla for hours ☺️
