The cocoon analogy was spot on! I just got this today and the amber, vanilla and musk definitely surround the florals. You get that vanilla musk off top and the depth of the amber, then the floral notes over a little time in my humble opinion. Great review and analogy of it.

Carlos and Olya, great review of these two Rosendo Mateu fragrances. They both sound amazing, but I think Incense Wood sounds amazing. Woody, Incensy, spicy, and mysteriously unique with a bonus of excellent performance. What's not to love. 😍❤

I've heard good things about it from others too but hadn't heard about Incense Wood before which u made sound nice as well and nuclear lol. Great review really enjoyed it as usual and u guys make a great team. I have tried briefly #4 which wasn't my favorite but I know some love it but I really enjoyed #1 #5 and #6 which r the only others I've tried, none from the black collection. oh wow RM no.5 I have had this fragrance on the radar for the last year, glad to see a review on this! The Spanish house you were trying to pronounce is Ramon Monegal they have alovely amber fragrance called Faisa.
