I’m praying Edisto is occupied by us again. I attempted to buy land and just couldn’t afford it. I’m hopeful though, one day I’ll be back to live. My family is still there and so even though I wasn’t born and raised on the island -not even SC but my ancestors are buried on that land, and my elders are still there. We ain’t going no where. I’m hopeful we will return.

I come from family on that land. I am just seeing this video. I have lots olf family buried there.
