Wisteria Trees and Vines in the garden

It's not a complete garden if you don't have a wisteria tree or vine. :) \You can start them from seeds and train them to become either a tree or a vine. The process is easy, but you have to make sure you keep up with them. They can become invasive if not attended periodically. These trees come in white, pink, purple and blue. See for yourself!!!

They can be monsters if you don't keep them in check. I bought a property that had one on it and oh my lord there were vines growing everywhere and rooted in the ground on buildings and in other trees. Beautiful but needs heavily pruned once or twice a year

I agree, they can be monsters. That’s why I do mention to people to please keep an eye on the plant and keep it controlled. I do prune during the fall. As time goes by I will be heavily pruning them. Thanks for sharing. 😁

I have 3 in all and they are small now but wow, in 1 month, they doubled. I want to grow it as a tree and my husband will make me a huge trellis so that I could put the Black Dragon wisteria and purple wisteria on it.
