I’m getting Mexican vibes from this. Axolotls are from Mexico, and there were paper cutout banners, called papel picado, I think.
I’m also getting Sims 1 vibes, with the animal prints, heart bed, bear skin rug, and there was even a dress-up chest for adults only in Sims 1. The turn ons and turn offs are straight from Sims 2, and I’m very happy they finally made it back.
I’m actually looking forward to this pack now if only just for the chaos!!!

15:18 those are not new chairs. They were added to Base Game in the Oct 2020 Hispanic Heritage update. It's when they added more Hispanic foods to the game, a chimnea grill, the pergola, that chairs set & a rectangle table as well as FIFA jerseys that still peeve off players for cross promoting the FIFA games in the Sims.
I think lovebug will be more like hopeless romantic from ts3, but tbh I also don't understand the difference between that and flirty 😅
Flirty (to me) just seems like a trait that affects how the Romance bar decreases.
Tbh the Romantic trait is kinda flat as trait so I'm not upset about the lovebug trait. I'm intrigued about the reserved triat and seeing how it differs from the unflirty triat. I'm kinda glad the career is a rabbithole since not every career is gonna have the option to work from home unfortunately 😭 Ngl I'm glad its not active because I feel like most of those get repetitive quite quickly. i wonder if the cuddling sims have a strained romance dynamic and that's why they look super awkward 😹 Tbh I feel like the Definition of packs has changed now and it solely depends on how much they spent Budget wise
This looks fun if it works like it is supposed to. I admit lately I have been playing a lot and having a good time. Maybe I just needed a long break from the game. Hopefully this pack is not a buggy mess.

@@Hollowluna It's been so long that I have Outdoors Retreat that I didn't remember that it was not possible without it. There are no little icon for any of the pack specific actions and interactions.

Looks like many stuff is coming back from the sims 1. This curtain is like doorway beads, and we had those in the sims 1 too (with a different animation). I'm curious about turn on/off system, like if there is going to be prefered hair color and zombism like it was in the sims 2 😅
I hate the sims deaths there's things i want to do in the game but can't because they all will result in death like i want my house to be run with mold but can't because of what happens

Somehow, the more i learn about those knew "gameplay features", the less I want to play with them.. 😅 I have finetuned my WW settings so much, it feels like an additional attraction and romantic relationship system would just mess it up for me .. on the other hand, the compatibilty system from Growing Together works fine with the WW attraction system - Sims finding others hot despite having horrible compatibility is the spice my game needs..
Same, not WW but I have fine turned other personality and attraction mods to my perfect flavor of gameplay.AND Lumpino has the Road to Romance Mod where my long-term couples already have a “romance” skill via that mod. This pack will invalidate those “skill” levels so I’m like one foot in, one foot out on this. I also think “game pack for expansion pack price”.
Sims can already view art together if they’re part of a group or ask each other to cooud/stargaze but I think what they’re saying is that the new dating system adapts to the lot type you’re visiting and these interactions will increase romance instead of (or in addition to) friendship which is all the current interactions that do that do (actually I’m not even sure that viewing art together increases friendship it might just increase both sims’ fun), and that it will factor into the date goals instead of the only activities that count towards the success of the date being talking/flirting with your date.
The male sim in the sims kissing screenshot makes me think of the new revised Don Lothario? I think it is him tbh lol

I think its just a little call back to Don since he's been an iconic character since the sims 2 and this IS a romance pack which is his whole thing.

Thanks for posting these leaked pics of the upcoming pack. I'm impressed with what content we'll be getting and the size of the world that comes with this pack. I have no doubt that folks will wish it was classified as a game pack and priced as such, like the Horse Ranch pack. I am concerned that some of the interactions might be buggy on release and that one where NPC sims won't interrupt your date may not work or consistently work as advertised. I'm sure we'll all find out when this pack get showcased (hopefully) by the gurus following GCs reviews and simmers comments\criticisms about this pack on social media.
I don’t like death from a broken heart so I hope there is an off trigger of some sort. Ruins my story telling if they can die from a broken heart, I like the idea of working Sims back from a breakup.
Also just waiting to see how long it takes for my sims to get matched with one of their relatives I uploaded to the gallery, like their grandfather as a teenager since that’s how I preserve different iterations of my Sims. Like does it only pull singles or pull whole families into your game if you decide to date them?
Even if the dumbbell isn't an actual object, I'm sure it'll be in debug. I do hope your sims can actually use it tho
They do exist, but are from CCs.
Romantically Reserved may like the demiromantic orientation, where you connect on a friendly, deeper level first and then can go on to romantic, whereas unflirty has no romantic interactions, more like aromatic.
It's not how this trait works, unflirty sims have romantic interactions, but it takes a lot slower to build it, cause they don't want to go too fast and don't like public affection.
I hope so! cause I feel like sims without unflirty or romantic don't really represented that.
Unflirty is more like reserved finds it hard to come out of their shell.
If another sim flirts with an unflirty Sim they react just as normal.
A lot of orientations are 'demiromantic'.😂😂😂
I'm curious if married couples will have both family dynamics and couple dynamics.
If that's the case, I wonder what kinds of combinations we Simmers could cook up? Especially for maximum drama 😈

Including the GALERY? How long will this take to load? If my sim wants to cook spaghetti, the game has issues and is paused. Loading the Galery for "Tinder" will break the game.

They can already do those things view art together, view sky. I was hoping they would bring back proposals while having dinner, playing footsie, etc. But I guess they never thought of that . I wish if they're gonna rehash something, it's gonna be from the older versions and not what we already have now
I guess we gotta wait for the official trailer. A lot of animation or features are not always featured in the description for example the best hug ever animation in growing together.

This sounds interesting. I wonder if the cudle thing the woman is more interested in this than the male and that's why it's like they're trying to be closer but also not because the guy isn't that into it.
So this is going to change wicked whims and MCC. If this pack is linking with the gallery and MCC already has the feature to migrate sims into the world. That doesn't seem it would a challenge much just rerouting whatever they need to clean up for this new installment. If this is pack-based I don't know how this will get less hazardous for the mod, but make an if statement when this pack is in place or this bit of the mod is possibly unusable. idk, I can't do anything but this leak has good merits to be shown early. I feel nervous about what it be like if those who work on this mod had to be tangled by that possibility. Would be safe to let gallery sims come through? or, should we close that "hatch" until this is resolved? when this works together like normal it be great just pick out the sim. I don't know what to do if it's sim still comes out from the gallery. Maybe something like play along with what was multiple sims glitch when the sim got a copy of itself. I had one sim turn out like this I turned his double into his twin brother.

adding the gallery to their app makes it more powerful than a mod ergo different ...if it works. new whoo-hoo new death new gameplay objects - and new traits and new aspirations and careers and dynamics and likes and dislikes, with teens included in the new skill, new lot trait, and 13 playable lots in the world, - sadly this many new gameplay features PLUS a full-size world at 13 lots ....its on trend for the higher price point. If gameplay can validate that other relationships and dating activities can happen between two sims I am not controlling then That would check off the - effects my whole game beyond the world it was designed for box.
The gallery feature just sounds more problematic tbh, like I have family relatives of my sims stored on the gallery so depending on how it works possibility of my sims grandfather when he was a young man appearing on the app exist.

@IronSeagull so sorry for your suffering. I feel your pain. I lobe near the Gulf of Mexico, and it's hot here year round. We only have a break from the heat because it's raining every day. And by a break I mean it's in the high 80s instead of high 90s or triple digits. Lol
