Sunpak COB-40 Light Unboxing and Review

Have you been looking for a cheap but effective lighting solution for your UA-cam channel? Are cheap ring lights not cutting it for you? This may be the light for you! This is a fairly in expensive COB light with a mini bowen's mount. That means you have multiple softboxes available at your fingertips to enhance this light even more! As far as fan noise I could not hear any noise coming from it so it seemed pretty quiet. I could only hear it faintly if I pulled it down and put it up to my ear. I think the only negative I can say about it is there is no remote control. I think that would have made the light so much better!

Thanks for the reply! Yeah it's a great small light for a small room. It could use a better softbox but ones you can get on Amazon are only about $40-50. I'm thinking of getting one to enhance the light a little bit :). Not too bad for an $80 cob light though! Welcome to the channel!

Do you think the Ulanzi mini Bowens mount softbox or lantern would fit it?
