Very Nice Steve 👌 Funnily enough I picked up a US 🇺🇸 1959 pressing of....For LP Fans Only last week ! In very impressive condition! Beautiful album .. £25 on ebay ....very happy to add it to my collection Cheers Steve 🎙🎶🥂
@@tcbsince73 that would be great, I only started collecting singles recently and have only 1 Belgian "way down & pledging my love Would love to see whats out there
AS always you have a great video. You have an original copy LPM 1707. The release came out with liner notes stating "after 31 grueling takes a satisfactory master was made". RCA came out almost at the same time with the change, after several takes they made a master.I am talking about Hound Dog. First editions have light blue lettering no titles on the front catalog number on the right side. Back cover has just song titles listed horizontaly. Also Your King Creole LP is a first edtion US Stagered Stereo reprocessed 1962. Forgive my spelling.
Gold standard singles started in 59. HOWEVER those sleeves are from approximately ‘64. The 59 issues were Dog on Top. But came in a yellow and black gold standard sleeve. Those sleeves you have are quite valuable
Great collection steve...I m a big follower of your site....I noticed that lots of young guys, black or white, called ELVIS ****That s my boy***Nobody called Michael Jackson, freddy Mercury.or any other singers ,****my boy****only ELVIS.. WHY ??????
thanks Annie. I wonder if it originates with the 68 Special? at one point the guys on the stage say “my boy, my boy” to Elvis. can’t think of any other origin.
Hi there, can you do a video on how all those records were released while he was in Germany, I'm guessing having known he was army bound recording went into overdrive.
It amazes me that so much was released each year. Great collection and looking forward to the 1960s! TCB
thanks Mark
Beautiful collection and the amount of releases is mind blowing.

thanks Mark, RCA certainly milked the fans from the very beginning
It’s nice to see these LPs in great condition and with un-split bindings. Lovely video.

Great video Steve. Is there anything you don’t have to complete this discography as we go on year by year ?
thanks John, I am pretty well covered but I’m sure there must be something. We will find out.
