At the age of 17-18 he was destroying the Dutch league to the point no one could believe their eyes. He won Ballon Dor at 19 and 20 and would have kept going non stop if not for his sequence of career ending injuries. But even then, after 2 ligaments ruptures in his knees, he came back heavy and slow for his standards. Result? World Cup winner and Best Player in the World once again. Any other player in history would be relevantly over after that. But R9 talent for this sport was just too much.
