My name is Yvonne. I create and post videos about my daily life with Friesian Horses. I will show you the true Friesian Horse and what they are like: day to day care, training, riding dressage and the very special birthing of foals. I explain the facts about breeding Friesian Horses and the steps I take to help better the breed.
You will learn that Friesian Horses have a naturally high gait, whether or not they can jump, if they are good for beginners and what they eat.

Working in a breeding and sales barn you expect horses to be sold but so many at once must be heartbreaking for you all. Hug each other and give all your horses lots of love to help heal your hearts.

Is anybody else crying while watching this one? I've only cried when the babies are born or lost. Jacobien was my favorite. God speed and keep them safe and healthy dear God, put your mighty angels around them and their new owners may they thrive and be so happy! ❤❤❤😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏

Sorry to say, I'd be that person only because, it's a pretty large herd( not a bad one in the bunch)but, at 60 I'd rather visit someone else farm an help as long as petting and grooming are included.. have to pass on riding not last time I rode it took 3 weeks to recover, I think, lol! ❤️✌️

Canada is very lucky to have the Stal G mares & I'm glad the mares get to stay together as one herd. Rein has obviously spent a large part of his life building up his breeding herd of mares. So a decision like this can not have been easy for Rein to make. It must have weighed heavily on his heart. It is not necessary for us to know why. But I do wish to express my gratitude & thanks to Rein for allowing & supporting Yvonne to share life at Stal G with us. I hope that what ever the reason this next chapter in Rein and his family's life brings them joy, happiness and good health. 💖

I saw the tears in your eyes, Yvonne. It is so hard to see beloved horses move on, but life is like that, full of changes. I will be watching your channel always. It is not just the horses and ponies we care about, it is YOU. You are a wonderful person and a great horsewoman. There will be other horses to fill up the stable and you will love them too. I am so glad you have Uniek, and the other mares as well as Wunder and Yfke. Please don't think we will stop watching your channel. There are as many reasons to watch as there are people watching! I thank Rein and his family for being so kind to let us all "live" in Stal G for the past years. Horses are a lot of work when you are doing your job correctly. Rein, his family, and Yvonne have always been the very best equine stewards. Their herds get everything they need to keep them in the peak of health and happiness. Rein, your retirement is well earned! A long, healthy and happy life to you and your families!

Ive been asking myself that question since the day I was introduced to the channel. Incredible right? The answer I believe is because of Yvonne and her magic camera. 😎😁😂❤️
I understand the reasoning behind the sale, and I am grateful that these beautiful mares, that we were lucky enough to get to know, will be staying together. Can you imagine being able to purchase an instant herd of Friesians? Wow! I truly hope that we are allowed to know that they arrived safely. Thank you so much, Boss Rein, for allowing us to follow their journey all these years. It must have been so difficult to load them up, Yvonne. Many hugs to all the ladies who took such superb care of these beauties. I look forward to the continued stories of Stal G and Stal H, and of course will be watching every video. Huge thank you to boss Rein for sharing his wonderful herd with us over the years. His love of the Friesian breed was evident in the home and care he provided every single horse from the moments they were born. It has been a privilege to feel like a member of his herd.

I must admit that was my first thought when I saw so many from Stal G as well as a couple from other stables were bought & to fly them to Canada.
And they are all with foul😳

I was surprised so many were sold but especially with foal. I’m not judging but curious why and if they’re getting out of the business. Watching them load them up I won’t lie I cried. And I’m sure we all had our favorites. I can’t imagine how Yvonne and the others feel.

Oh, i cant stop crying. I can't even imagine your sadness. My little cat has come to comfort me just as your 2 kitties tried to comfort you, Yvonne. We all know Rein has to do what he thinks is best and I'm happy he found a buyer who would keep the herd together. Matilda has been my favorite since she was born so I'm happy that she's staying. Please keep creating videos because we've become very attached to you and we care about you and your family. Maybe you can convince the new owners to create their own channel so we can get updates on the herd. In the meantime, i hope you can enjoy the horses who are staying and show us what happens next!❤

I always watch Yvonne's daily video on my lunch break at work. Thank Goodness I ate in my car today. I was blubbering like a fool. I am so happy the dames got sold together. I would like to give my thanks to Rein for allowing us to be a part of the amazing stories we witnessed. Congratulations on the sale of your beautiful herd.

I started watching you when Uniek lost her foal, then we all fell in love with Rising Star. I've grown to love all of these horses. My eyes are filled with tears as I watch them get in the truck to be taken to quarantine. The only thing that makes this easier is knowing they will be together as herd!! They'll always live in our hearts here on your channel. I was quite surprised by my reaction. But when you first said goodbye to Frieda, the love spilled out of my heart and filled my eyes. I also feel for you. Yvonne and all the wonderful people that have worked with these beautiful horses. how much more sadness you must feel so my heart goes out to you too. much love, Donna.

As I age, we have a farm and raise cattle, I understand about downsizing. It is hard to let go of animals and things you love. Good luck to Rein in his future. Yvonne you should be proud that you have developed a channel that has made stall G so famous and that the girls can stay together. You are an amazing woman! Still I teared up when Jacobien was loaded. I always loved to see her on your channel.

I found myself holding my breath, hoping that Jacobien would not be going. A sad day, even sadder to see the tender loving care in washing and brushing and braiding to prepare them for the journey. Wow!!! The whole herd was sold I am speechless and as much as I understand the winding down of the business I cried my heart out. My consolation is that this ig herd is staying together, that is very lucky indeed may they have an extraordinary life in Canada.
Wow - purchasing an entire herd - and all in foal! That's a whole lotta money, including the plane ride! Fantastic for Rein. And cool that the herd already know each other. Best of everything in their new home in Canada. The new caretakers have taken on such lovely horses!

I first watched this video last night and was heartbroken. This morning (now😊) it was the first thought that I had to see if it was still true or if I just did dream of it. So... it's still the truth. But as sad as it is, one day we all have to face reality and cut down on doing things we loved to do. None of us is becoming younger as time goes by. So thanks to Rein for letting Yvonne share his horses and the atmosphere at stall G. with us.
And Yvonne : don't worry about loosing views on your channel. I am sure I am not the only one who started watching this channel for the beautiful horses and continued watching just because of you.

I too started to watch for the beautiful Friesians but continue to watch because of Yvonne. Stal H has the top three mares from Stal G. I’m excited for the future of Stal H with Wunder and Yfke…and the arrival of Queen Uniek’s foal…love this channel😃👍🏼

At the time, he may well have been careful up it searching for a suitable buyer...a sale such as this, does bit happen everyday, nor overnight!

It is sad to say goodbye to these mares that we have watched and loved since they were tiny foals. I am glad that they will be a new herd together-- shared training and bloodlines and history. They are all so beautiful. Thank you for sharing the sad stories as well as the happy ones. I live in Canada so I hope to hear more of Friesen horses here.
Yvonne, I don't know how you can go through this. I would be constantly weeping as the mares were loaded onto the carrier. You are much stronger than I could ever be. I hope they will be happy and well cared for. And although all these beauties will be greatly missed, I'm so glad we still have Uniek, Risey, and everyone else. Each have such wonderful personalities and I love seeing them all.

Part of me is heartbroken at this news, but being of a certain age myself, I totally understand Rein wanting to cut back. He loves these horses, and I have no doubt that he would not have let them all go like this if he wasn't certain they were going to an excellent new home with great new people to love and care for them. I am so glad that they get to stay together as they embark on this unexpected new adventure in their lives. And, Yvonne, Canada is only a plane ride away. Please don't say you'll "never" see these beautiful ladies again. Visiting them is a fantastic excuse for a holiday in Canada. (Not that anyone really needs one; Canada is well worth the trip any time.) In the meantime, I will most definitely continue to eagerly await your videos, be they of horses, ponies, cats, dogs, birds, bunnies, frogs, or even humans. Visiting with you almost every night is a true balm for my stressed out soul. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for all that you share with us. We love you, and we are with you.

Oh Yvonne...it's so hard to watch. Jacobien was my favorite at Stal G. I shed a few tears watching her load up in the trailer. I can't speak for all but I will be back to watch you and your beautiful herd at Stal H. I found you when our beautiful Queen lost her foal and have watched through all the ups and sometimes downs, of life with horses. Thank you for sharing such an important part of your life with us. It`s always hard to say good bye ! It was a big decision for Rein to take. I`m sad to see the horses go. As someone mentioned before, it would be nice if the new owner would send you videos on how they are doing in Canada. It`s wonderful that they can be together as a herd. It's hard to find the right words. What a massive life change for Rein senior and the horse and people community he built at Stal G. What an adventure it has been for you all, working with so many wonderful horses, each with their own personality. I've loved having a window into life with Friesians. Your fall highlighted what a precious group of people you have around you, Yvonne ❤. I am looking forward to seeing where life takes you all next. The mares that stole our hearts will be gone :( feels like an ending. So sad. Very emotional.
Can you imagine the joy of the new owners? I bet they can't wait to welcome their new horses. Hopefully, there will be lush green pastures waiting for the mares and lots of people who are delighted to work with them and take care of them. I just wished the horses didn't have to fly overseas, but I guess with sedation and experienced handlers they will endure the journey. And since all the mares are in exceptionally good state they will recover fast from the journey and enjoy their new home and all the love that they will get in Canada.
I too am so sad. For years I have sat down to watch these horses. The only other time I have ever been so upset for any UA-cam video is when we were so worried about you Yvonne, and we’re so thankful for Bauke’s bravery and commitment to this community as he kept us updated. I remind myself it is a business, and all of you that have been with them are going to miss them so much more.
Although I am very sad knowing I will miss these young mares, I think it is awesome that Yvonne’s channel allows the new owners to see the births of their mares and how wonderfully the Stal G team has treated them. What a perk! Goedzo Yvonne!! ❤

So many conflicted feelings. But my first thoughts are with Rein. Hoping all is well with him and his family and sending him much ❤️ for sharing his beautiful herd with us over these years.
Second, of course we will continue to watch you, Yvonne! You are one in a million and your kind way of sharing not just the horses but your family is very endearing. I love to see you and all the horses. As long as you film I will watch. I’m glad Risey is doing better. I remember the day he came to the farm to be with Uniek. Such a beautiful moment. I’ve watched that video many times and it’s always touching.
It sucks that Jacobien was also sold. She's my favorite Friesian other than Uniek! That brought a few tears to my eyes. At least we still have RS and Uniek! And don't worry, Yvonne. Your herd won't stop following you. We're all still here.

Wow wow WOW -when you mentioned a HERD was being purchased I was amazed at the deep pockets of the purchaser. I realize you are a Friesian BUSINESS, and many of these gorgeous horses are intended to be sold at some point in their lives. It is SAD but even more WONDERFUL that all these beauties will still be together in Canada. I PRAY they stay together all the days of their lives, and are used as mares for the new owners. It is GREAT to hear those in-foal will remain until after they foal and the babies weaned. It is hard information to hear, because my favourites are Lianne and Geertje. They will one day have gorgeous foals. Please dear new owners NEVER LET THEM GO, because you never know where they'll end up.

That had to take much courage for you Yvonne to record that video of the herd of Friesian Horses being sold and several loaded on the truck. You have known them, cared for them and loved them. It must have been so difficult for you to see them leave. And they will be going to Canada which would make it difficult to visit them. You held up well for the video. You surely must feel sad as well as Boss Rein. I pray for you and Boss Rein for grace of comfort in letting go of these horses that are like family.
YVonne I know this is hard but take comfort in the fact that your channel introduced so many of us to the breed. You have truly impacted many of us with your excellent programing.
Excellent point...but for Yvonne, Rein and there mares of Goengamieden, most of us would still be blissfully ignorant of the beauty that originated in Friesland....that IS a sad thought!

I'm missing something...where does it say that Boss Rein is retiring? After these other mares and foals can finally fly, won't he still have other unsold fillies, and horses boarding, like Bjiarni, Shors and Johnny? I applaud Boss Rein for his thorough training of his horses, work ethic, and for allowing Yvonne to share so much of life at Stal G. I think we have learned so much about Friesian horses, but also, how it is living and working with them every day. If he is retiring, I wish him well and offer my sincere thanks for letting Yvonne have such access with her filming. Also, Yvonne, this herd you have all over the world will never stop watching. It's not just about the horses...We watch because you're like a best friend and family member. You became even more precious after your accident. While portions of the world may be in serious conflict, this herd of viewers from all over the world, find common ground here on friesian horses. :)
It hasn’t been said that Rein is retiring.
Rein would like to take it a bit easier, so he decided to downsize. There are still horses at Stal G and Yvonne will of course also continue to make videos at Rein’s stable🧡

I can't believe so many mares are leaving. It's almost like losing family members. We have watched them over the years and admired them from a distance through your videos. It must be heartbreaking to know they are leaving. Our love goes with them and with you. ❤ I wanted to cry when the van left with them.

I know that breeding and selling horses is the business that Paka Rein is in. I'm just floored that so many fantastic mares have been sold. I really wanted to see Jacobien wow the judges in Dressage and earn her Kroon Sport Pref. C'est la vie.

I'm sorry for your situation. I do not have a brain tumor, but another medical condition has taken away my ability to ride. I would have had a friesian horse, but now I enjoy Yvonne and her horses.

I’m from Canada. These beautiful horses have found a good home, I hope. There is a farm just outside of Vancouver where there are Friesian horses and I love to watch them as we drive by.

My heart is so broken with all these mares being sold it will be hard for me to watch these videos I been watching since Mathilde was born I watched her be born I wish they wouldn’t have been sold 😢😢😢😢

Raising horses is a business, horses come and go. It's not possible to keep all of them, there is not enough room, time, or money for it. We understand that. We will be sad to see the sold ones leave but we will look forward to the new ones arriving. I really looking forward to Uniek's new foal!! And hopefully the new owners can send you pictures and video of the horses in their new home!

Jacobean and you, Yvonne were just getting together as a team bringing in the colts and riding in the arena. I. Think she would have made a lovely dressage horse.
I can't believe my favourite at Stal G Lianne has been sold too. I have missed her while she had been away, and we never got to say goodbye to her.
I know Rein has to do this but it is so hard to see the mares we have seen grow up be sold (often see them born too) 😢
At least many of them have gone as a herd and will be together.
I just feel so sad that Stal G looks so empty and everyone looked like they have tears in their eyes when the mares were loaded.
I shall go and look for videos of earlier days at Stal G, and videos of your Stal H to cheer me up.
