You can see that his coordination still isn’t 100% but he seems to otherwise be so happy and full of life. He still loves to play and jump and be active. You’ve given him a wonderful quality of life and we appreciate every day you give him, but we will also stand by you no matter what choice you may have to make in the future.

@rala6061 but he's not in pain or dangerous yet! Yet! Why must we all let him go right now? It isn't time! You'd put an animal down just because of a diagnosis even if they are jumping around, happy, not in pain, not falling down? Think about what you are saying. We will support Yvonne when it happens...if it happens...but it's not time yet. Let us enjoy him while he's here and not close the book in the middle of the chapter, however short it may or may not be.
Thank you all for the unconditional love and support you have given Yvonne since she started her journey with Rising Star. You are a shoulder for her to lean on. From the bottom of my heart, I hope you will continue to do so as the journey continues❤️🧡 With gratitude, YvonneD, mod🌷

Thank you Yvonne, Please, please please don't ever see yourself as being unlucky. Ok , you have had some setbacks . Don't despair Yvonne, you are so very respected and loved by many people all around the world and those wonderful friends and family immediately close to you. You are showing the sometimes difficult and heartbreaking side of keeping horses. It isn't always sunshine and roses. Sometimes it is unbearably hard and sad. However you have been there for some of the most beautiful births of fillies and colts, who have gone on to become breathtakingly stunning mares and stallions.Your love and dedication to the horses and animals in your care is inspirational to us all. the problem is that you can't ride them in case they fall (which they often do) and you can't breed them because there's often a genetic component. He's not in any pain from it....maybe a few pins and needles in his feet.....but horses are expensive. Keeping them as a pet is beyond the reach of most ppl. Best of luck, Rising Star!! and thank you, valerie, for your good wishes! (ps LOVE your youtube pic!)
As long as he isn’t in pain and can move around and walk without falling over or running into things, then I say give him all the time in the world. He is a beautiful horse and can be a wonderful pet he doesn’t have to be ridden. As long as he is happy that sounds like a good quality of life.
Hopefully Risey will progress further as he is better now. Acupuncture and massage may indeed help, and maybe growing bigger and developing stronger muscles in his neck. He is so energetic and happy, he is also nicely developping because of the love and care you give him. Fingers crossed and prayers for Risey to get better. Exactly. I had a wobbler. Never ridden. Did get cast once or twice. He was too affected to do surgery. He could gallop like the wind but he was clutzy. His spinal cord was pinched. No pain he had 22 years of being in our family. Good luck. I don’t. Know what’s wrong but since I had that experience thought I would share. 😊
I don't think Risey is ready to give up and neither are you. He's still a growing boy and as you are are walking miracle, Risey has been one most of his life. He's got time if you do. Your heart is aching like crazy and you are so fearful. I don't blame you for your decision, no matter what. The mental anguish and pain you're suffering is horrible and you are still in recovery, yourself!! I can't tell you what a great woman you are and how I admire you and honor your decision, whatever it may be. God give you peace and complete healing and joy. An old woman herd member from Illinois.

I have a household of disabled animals. It never ceases to amaze me how well they adapt and accept their way of life.I love Rising Star and have watched him from the beginning please don’t give up on him.
Was anyone else impressed with how Risey behaved perfectly for Yvonne? Lots of scary things happened to him during that trip and he handled it like the Prince that we know him to be. Thank you, Yvonne, for continuing to give all of us the gift of time. We trust your decision, whatever it has to be, when it has to be. Still watching from Texas.
At the present time, Risey looks so much better! I know he is not completely perfect, and may not get better than this, but he is a beautiful, sweet boy and I’m so glad you didn’t put him down, Yvonne. 💕🇨🇦
Exactly. I watched this the first time early this morning when it dropped, and I literally didn’t know what to say because words are so inadequate. Yvonne is our miracle and real Herdies are what in the US is called “Ride or Die” we will ALWAYS have her back in whatever she chooses. I remain grateful that she and Bauke choose to continue to show us real life.
Risey is a clever horse, we have worked out how to adapt to physical difficulties, and Risey will realise that there are some things he should do differently. If he hs not in pain and loving life which he is, he deserves time. Wrap his legs in protection when he is on his own to prevent injuries, much love to you Yvone, feeling your pain
Leather😂 I was writing but this phone was thinking that maybe ✉️ will do the job. But I still do understand Yvonne thinking to put RS to forever sleep. This lovely boy is also a mild risk for her and to her family. So, everyone will understand if she eventually does so. Of course we all will 😢😢 then. But let's hope Risey will become better. ❤
I agree that he will likely adapt and compensate for his disability. After seeing him covorting in the arena, I think he already has developed a lot of coping with balance and managing his weight. Hopefully this does not put added stress onto his front legs, but with monitoring his activity, as Yvonne does, I think she's okay to play it one day at a time. I wish them the best!❤
Please keep looking. We've watched him from a baby, losing his mom and getting a second chance with a new mom. He came into your life for a reason, perhaps to find a way to keep him on this earth. He is still young, he looks like he is improved so what is lost by giving him more time? My heart aches for you both and will keep you both in my prayers.
I just cried at the end of this video. He looks much better than 4month ago. A lot of story would be there. I'm wait for them and thank you, Yvonne!! Also give Risey a big hug instead of me!!
Watching Yvonne cry was very hard to watch, my heart breaks for her. The positive thing is Risey prancing and being beautiful right now was wonderful to watch. We know Yvonne will do what’s best for all concerned when the time comes, she loves her animal family We stand with you Yvonne 🥰👌🫶❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🐎
Risey is no worse than he was and looks happy with the marvellous life that you give him. Time is your gift to that beautiful horse . Yvonne count all the many blessings that you do have and keep that lovely smile on your face. ❤
Risey is looking so well and happy in the arena, I think by giving him time is the best at the moment and any hard decisions can be made in the future if needed. Bless you Yvonne my heart breaks for you.😢😢😢
Yvonne has done so much research on this since August, and she sees Risey everyday and has all the information given to her by several different vets. It is very difficult for her to be able to communicate all of that information to us. I trust her decisions completely. She will do what Risey tells her to do. She will know what he needs. 🧡🧡🤗🤗🥰🥰🤗🤗🧡🧡
His coordination looks better and I hope with more time he will improve further. He has youth on his side right now. Whatever the outcome Yvonne, you have given him the best life possible and have gone above and beyond for him. Whatever you decide we know it's in Rising Star's best interests and you did all you could for him. We love you no matter what Yvonne 😘🤗❤ I adore Risey as we all do and hopefully time can heal him ❤❤❤
In my humble opinion, I do think Risey deserves to be kept alive even with his condition. He may never be fully recovered, but he isn't in severe pain, that we know of, he can move, he can have a little social time with a pasture buddy in the future when he accepts leg guards and isn't as intense... He can live a good life. I'm sure the treatments cost some big money, and if it ever becomes an economical burden, I do understand. But there's a whole community here who will donate to the cause. There's hope yet. This little guy is a strong spirit, he keeps on living.
This is exactly my thought as well. As log as he's not in pain or suffering he deserves to live, even if he's not 100% recovered. And I think he walks better than he did, so a bit of time may help even more.

He's still very much the most vocal horse at Stal H despite being gelded, that's good to see and you are right, definitely a huge improvement compared to the videos in the past. He's jumping effortlessly.
One reason I love watching these videos, is because you are 100% honest about what is going on. We all know this extremely hard for you and your family. I'm sure every night you go to bed, you are thinking of Risey!! Yoour love and compassion is truly a gift to have❤ OH MY GOODNESS!! What a difference, and it's almost like he knows he's getting better. Seeing him running with his tail held high, jumping and kicking in the air broke me down in tears, tears of joy though Yvonne, We love and support you and any decisions you make because we all know it is truly what is Best!!❤
Bad luck? We can only go forward. My story is similar. Health declining for three years now. How can we give up? Risey has time. You will know what to do. He is content, he is safe. I am sure Rising Star will let you know what he needs as he can. Blessings for you and your people. Take care of yourself and Rising Star. ❤️❤️
Bottom line Yvonne is we love you, we trust you, and we respect you. We grieve when you grieve, we rejoice when you rejoice, and we celebrate everything about life when you celebrate. Our “comments” are only that - comments. Wish we could give you a giant hug filled with love! ❤️❤️❤️
Keep fighting Risey. Our prayers are for you and your family Yvonne. The right thing must be done for the best life of the horse. Your struggle has been so hard Yvonne. We know you will decide what is best for Rising Star.
We, your herd, will support you in whatever you decide to do on Risey's behalf, Yvonne. As you continue to take steps to see to his health, please don't neglect your own. The emotional stress and physical (and financial) burden of caring for an injured/sick animal can be overwhelming. Thoughts and prayers for you and Risey.
Eight months later in posted video time. He is doing so well! His walk is coordinated and his trot is doing really well when he's warmed up and pushing from behind (Which he can do!). He can even canter on a lunge line!
Oh Yvonne, time is a great healer. Risey is a shining star and will shine bright for you. Know that we are all thinking of you right now and will hold you, and Risey, in our hearts.
Time is helping, and not all horses have to be ridden! He could remain a companion horse, you could learn to do liberty training with him (like those tricks you saw in the show) to keep his mind busy. As long as he’s not in pain, or danger, he still has a life to live 🥰
Thank you for this update. Once an animal is dead, they for sure can never get better. As long as they are not suffering and can enjoy life, they deserve the chance to live. Risey looks so happy being in the arena just running around like an adorable puppy. I hope we get to see him happy and content for many years to come!
Yvonne. Time helped my wobbler. In the mean time we used steroids and he survived to 22 and was diagnosed when he was 2. He had a great life for 20 years. I couldn’t. Ride him and that’s ok. He was so sweet. Best of luck to Risey. I know how it feels and it’s very hard. All the dream you have disappear with wobblers. It’s ok. Give it some time. My guy. Was managed with prednisolone and he did fine. Kept the inflammation down. At first we did DMSO. He needed it to get ahead of the symptoms. ❤
Never ever give up...i don't know how many times ive been told this is it. But I've fought and I'm still here yes not exactly perfect but ive survived. Risey will do the same surrounded by the love you give him, the care...he knows and he will get better.x
He is such a magnificent horse! It’s ok to hurt for your animals! He loves you, he’s been there with you since he was a baby! A lot of times Vets are quick to put animals down, it’s just a job to them. I know they can’t get attached to animals or it would be almost impossible to do their jobs. As long as Risey is pain free and getting around good I would give him every chance I could!
I absolutely agree! So many horses who vets said to be put down, went on to greatness! Time truly heals - look at Yvonne! She is a walking, talking miracle! Good things can come true! 🐎😊🌹💕🌻
Yes! Yes! "Give him time" is a very wise choice! He looks so happy and is not suffering in any way. My heart reaches out to you Yvonne, you are so kind and loving and are doing everything you can for Risey. 😍😍🤩🤩😇😇
I will support whatever decision you come to Yvonne. I love Rising star but I know what can happen with wobblers and other neuromuscular horse diseases and he might be fine just until he isn’t and then he could be panicking because he can’t control his legs and then incur a much worse injury causing him a lot of pain and much fear. It’s a horrible decision to have to make to euthanize an animal you love but it’s just the price we all pay for loving our animals. None of us wants Risey to suffer so you make the best decision for you and Risey and the rest of us will support you in this.
Yvonne, I am so sorry to hear this sad news about Risey. When and if it is time, I think Risey will let you know. My heart aches for you and Rising Star. Big virtual hug for both of you. ♥💫🤗
One of the many things I admire about you, Yvonne, is that you keep your channel real. Owning horses is filled with joy and difficulties, and you always manage them so gracefully. The moderators and the herd will always have your back!
I always remember Risey whinnying to Yvonne in the paddock at Stal G when he was a foal. Risey trusted Yvonne to look after him. Our gorgeous boy. Risey has been an absolute joy and delight in our lives.
I think the most important thing is to watch the quality of life for an animal. With a stiff neck he's not going to be happy.. He can't scratch, he can't communicate with other horses properly, he would have a very hard time laying down and getting up, his back is going to suffer because his neck won't be able to move etc. So the fact that you didn't choose that option is a good thing in my eyes. Quality of life for a horse means being able to walk outside, lay down in a dry and safe place when he's tired, being able to get up, getting food, care and love, being able to have interaction with other horses etc without being in a level of pain that will make him uncomfortable. Right now he definitely has real quality of life left. It's exactly like you said.. You can always put him to sleep later.. If he gets worse or is in to much pain and looses quality of life.. You've got the space to keep him safe and happy while you wait to see how this will unfold with time..
Thank you for explaining more about the implications of the vertebral fusion. I didn’t fully appreciate the impact it would have on his quality of life.
I had a boxer dog who got hit by a car .Her name was Springs . I named her that because from a stand still she could spring up as high as my face ...I am 5ft.7inches tall ....After she was hit she could not place her back feet .I was as if she lost function .When she tried her back feet would knuckle over ...We took her to a vet that said he could take her to a university hospital for surgery on her spine .No guarantee she would ever walk again ...I sat and cried along with my family ,I had four small children ,but she was our number five child .We could not afford the surgery .So I took her to another Vet . This wonderful man said lets try a steroid regemin and time with rest ....little by little she got back all feeling . She was happy . Wagged her backside when she greeted people .She ran and even jumped ..She could not do the spring move as high off the ground any more ,that gave her the name Springs .But every thing else she was back to her old self ... She lived to old age for a boxer dog .We had MANY happy years . And she never suffered any pain that we could tell ....Pray and give things time ....Time is all we have with our loved ones ......
I've had a spine concussion from blunt trauma and so has my dog. The function does improve considerably, but it takes a long time (years). This is a young animal with lots of neuro-regenerative potential. Way too early to kill. Some (too many) vets are overzealous thinking death is a better alternative than life with some limitations. It's not.
Risey is obviously happy, he is not suffering at all, and has no clue he has an issue. Time is most often the ultimate healer, but maybe we don’t alway realize this because we want instant answers. In the equine world, we don’t always have the means, resources or just patience to wait it out, but I am so happy that you are willing to do that. You have a beautiful heart, and I pray for a happy ending with your sweet boy🤍
I think he does know he has an issue. Before this, he gradually became docile & shy around Spring 2023 at Stal G and would barely play with the other stallions as the type of environment where stallions would prey on those they deem weak to establish pecking order, would make him feel more feel more vulnerable; yes, horses are said to able to sense weakness either through pheromones or mannerisms but now at Stal H, he feels much happier and much safer. He seemingly does know and has indicated that a lot of times (like not wanting Yvonne to go to his rear/blindspot or adjusting the gait of his hind legs to be even higher to mitigate the risks of him slipping and falling) but he adapts and doesn't care about it as much as a human would because in the end, no matter how smart, he's still a horse and lives the horse life.
A friend of mine has a horse with wobblers and he's remained 'steady' for nearly 4 years now. She takes it one day at a time and she never stops praying for her 'Peacepipe' to get better. Life is good and life goes on.
Dear Yvonne, I have no words. Risey always looks so happy. I hope that time will help him. In the mean time he is enjoying himself. All we can all do is hope and pray x
Yvonne you are not unlucky. You have challenges in your life. Risey was a miracle that brought so much love into your life. Your recovery is a miracle. You have a loving husband, children, friends, and viewers. Grandmother’s rule “Trouble Cheats No One” Whatever your decision with Risey, it will be best as it will be made with love.
He's got a good attitude - like he has no idea that there's anything wrong with him, so that helps a lot. Sometimes you have to walk the line and see how things work out. We'll all learn a lot from this, so thanks for that.
The Okkema family are like royalty in the world of Friesian horse breeders and trainers. It’s awesome that they help out smaller breeders like Yvonne with favors like a slant load trailer.
Yvonne you are a wonder.... Risey boy's progress has shown us that anything is possible. Time is precious and soo too is your bond with this precious boy❤❤
Yes I agree. My Mother was diagnosed with cancer and the doctors and other specialists said there was nothing they could do. That the cancer would claim her life in six months. Well 45 years later she's here cancer free and living her best life. Time can be the best healer
Gone from being very sad to happiness with this video. Risey looked so joyful in the arena at the end. Send healing thoughts everyday for him to get better. A big thank you to Anne from Stal Okemma for transport to vets. Whatever you decide Yvonne I know it will be for the best and have everyone's support. 💕😍🐎🇬🇧
💔 Yvonne, you're faced with one of the most heartbreaking decisions a horse owner ever has to make. It isn't bad luck, it's part of raising and loving horses. They can break our hearts.Thank you for your brave video sharing your grief and love for this sweet, beautiful horse. When the time comes to say goodbye to Risey, it won't be because you've given up, but because you can see he no longer has the quality of life he deserves. I know you wouldn't want to see him suffer. You are giving him the best possible care and have left no stone unturned pursuing his treatment. We all share your grief. We love you and the sweet RS. 💔♥️
I did not expect him to run so well 4 months later! That makes me so happy. I know, far from perfect but in this video he seems much improved! Fingers crossed!!
Idon't believe everything you have gone through is bad luck. Your a good person and the universe send us these trying times to help us grow stronger as people. Also yes Risey is looking great due to all the care you have given him. I've seen miracles happen with other horses and animals and people who it's belive they will never recover and they do. So I have f a ith that Risey will get better and even if the saddest outcome happens and he dies and has to be laid to rest. Know you gave him the best life he could ever have gotten.
He seems to be in good spirits, enjoying his food, and trotting around the arena. I know that if he was suffering, a hard decision would have to be made, but at this stage, even knowing the X-ray results, he seems to be enjoying life, and that is the most important thing. I’m so glad that you wanted to think about things, and not rush into anything, and it appears that was the right decision, as 4 months later, he still seems to be in no pain, and able to move ok, even if not quite right. So hang in there Yvonne, we are all with you, however things go. 😘🇦🇺
We know Yvonne will make the right decision in the end-a compassionate, loving & realistic decision. And we will help support her just like after the accident. Love & hugs from Houston 💖
Hey Yvonne, thank you for having him xrayed and explaining why you dont see surgery as an option. I know we dont have right to it, but now we know how the fork is in the steel. (😅) I even want to thank you more for the update on Risey as he is now. Maybe he will never be ridable or sound, but he is not in pain, he looks like he got used to not feeling where his hind legs are and above all...he looks so ff ing happy! Thank you!❤❤❤
Have you thought of talking to the owners who elected for neck surgery? Are they glad they did it? They could probably could give you a good idea of how their horses adapted to having their neck stiff. Not a medical opinion, but a loving owners viewpoint. I had acupuncture done on several of my pets and it worked wonders for stiffness and pain. It helps keep them comfortable. Prayers for you and Risey, whatever you decide.
I deleted my previous comment bcuz I realize I've been selfish in thinking of how "I" felt about Risey✨. I apologize. Surg is only a 50/50 & what many don't understand is he looks great yes but bcuz he's a horse, accidents, horrific ones can happen quickly. Yvonne, you're a gift, don't forget that & when it's time, I know I'll be there to support you. People & Animals are here for a reason or sometimes a season, Risey most certainly was there to make the whole world smile & we did. ❤💔🐴
That is why he is called "Rising star"! He hasnt risen to his great heights, yet. You will see! You Yvonne are a miracle. Good things are coming- just wait and see! ⭐️🐎🌹😊💕🌻

NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS they will not be tolerated MOD Shannon.🔥🐎👑🤍🧡
Risey is looking better due to the love and care you give him. It may not be the path or career you originally had hoped for him, but he is happy and not in pain. I am a firm believer that animals will let us know when they need to cross the rainbow bridge. As long as he is happy, not in pain, and not a danger to anyone else, and you can keep him as a pet, do it. Both of you will learn a lot from each other. You may not see it now, but both of you are living miracles that have so much to give to the world. Shine on!
I'm still praying that time will help.him. But I know that whatever your decision is, it will always be the right one for RS. And it will be the correct decision because you don't ever want him to suffer unnecessarily. It will break your heart, but I know you will do right by him. As you always have. And no matter what decision you make, Yvonne, we are not going anywhere. We will cry with you and still be here for you. Because we are the herd! Love and prayers from your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦 🙏

We will support dear Yvonne 💕 in whatever she makes. She had given Risey 🐴 the best life!
As long as he is not in pain it is OK to just enjoy him for how ever long he has. He really does seem so sweet. I think you will know when it is truly time to let him go, and I think he will tell you, there will be signs. For now, he seems to be improving, and happy.

My sentiments exactly.
We ara also so happy to see the filly of Uniek and Corella, what a nice achievement! ❤🐎🐎🐎Wishing you all rhe best, I hope Yvonne you are also better by now, may you have a blessed Easter! 😊
He looks even happier after being gelded, the sound of him snorting/purring is heavenly.
Risey really does purr! I love him so much! ❤❤❤
It is. And I love the sound of any of the horses chewing. For some reason that seems so contented to me.
Very well said ❤
Ditto. I got all the feels you so perfectly stated. Michigan, USA
❤❤❤
God bless you, Donna. As one old herd member to another. You have great wisdom.
I agree that Yvonne is the strongest, and she shall receive all of our support always. Love from Ohio ❤
I hope he lives a full, healthy life. He doesn't look like he's ready to go.
he can....the problem is that you can't ride them in case they fall (which they often do) and you can't breed them because there's often a genetic component. He's not in any pain from it....maybe a few pins and needles in his feet.....but horses are expensive. Keeping them as a pet is beyond the reach of most ppl. Best of luck, Rising Star!! and thank you, chyname for your good wishes!
I have a household of disabled animals. It never ceases to amaze me how well they adapt and accept their way of life.I love Rising Star and have watched him from the beginning please don’t give up on him.
Definitely…!!! ♥️🐴♥️🫶🏼🇨🇦
Si adattano anche loro con i problemi ....come NOI
Was anyone else impressed with how Risey behaved perfectly for Yvonne? Lots of scary things happened to him during that trip and he handled it like the Prince that we know him to be. Thank you, Yvonne, for continuing to give all of us the gift of time. We trust your decision, whatever it has to be, when it has to be. Still watching from Texas.
In tears here. He deserves more time, he's happy in the meadow and the stable, does not appear to be in any pain. So glad you're waiting Yvonne.
Shout out to Anne and Stall Okkema for your help transporting Risey and Yvonne. Thank you! 💖
❤❤
Yes many thanks for providing the truck to Rising Star!
Thank you!!
Really nice that the stals help each other
Stahl Okkema was featured in the Friesian episode of Discoverthehorse!
At the present time, Risey looks so much better! I know he is not completely perfect, and may not get better than this, but he is a beautiful, sweet boy and I’m so glad you didn’t put him down, Yvonne. 💕🇨🇦
He can’t be what he is driven to be and he’s isolated from his friends 😢
@@dinahbrown902 Still looks like a happy colt though.
@@piggylover4808 I know and a beautiful one at that but you know the longer you put off what seems to be the inevitable the harder it will be.😢
@@dinahbrown902At the end of the video, it looked to me that Risey has improved in walking and running.
@@dianebannister4591better than recent video I agree
If he’s not in pain let him enjoy his life
For a large animal that has an entire life of expensive mobility issues ahead of him, it's not that simple to an owner.
Beautiful Rising Star! 🌟 It's wonderful to see him run. 😊 Miracles happen everyday. I'll continue to pray for him. 🙏
Me, too!!!
yvonne's eyes says it all
Ja.
Die Traurigkeit und Verzweiflung sieht man Ihr an😢😢
💔💔😢…Will always be here to support Yvonne❤
They really do! Happy Birthday Sweetheart 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 🎊
Oh ! Now there's an idea 💡 😮 I hadn't thought of till now! 👍 I think I've seen race horses with those covers on their legs? ❤🐴
I was also thinking those letter-ones to protect him, but the old injury needs air, so maybe little later. I guess Yvonne was thinking so.
😁😁😁
Thank you for the update Yvonne. Good decision four months ago, he’s still enjoying life. 🤗
God Bless you for keeping Rising Star alive and having hope!! You have a beautiful heart and Rising Star is blessed to have you!!
Yes. Agree with that. He seems to been much stronger. ..
I hope his story don't end yet😢
I hope it doesn't either..
Me too!@@elainebernier
Watching Yvonne cry was very hard to watch, my heart breaks for her. The positive thing is Risey prancing and being beautiful right now was wonderful to watch.
We know Yvonne will do what’s best for all concerned when the time comes, she loves her animal family
We stand with you Yvonne 🥰👌🫶❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🐎
Risey will let you know when he's ready, whatever that may be. He's a beauty and your care and affection for him have been stellar Yvonne. ❤
Yvonne, you fill his days with so much love. When it’s the right time, you’ll make the right choice for him.
That is what I was going to say ❤
I started crying so hard at the end of video and saw how much better Risey is. Tears of joy. Don't give up on your boy !
Me too. Praying 🙏🏼 for you and Risey.
Expecting continued improvement.
To God be the glory great things he has done.
Bless you Yvonne my heart breaks for you.😢😢😢
Handsome Risey! So loved and here to bring smiles. He's here as a therapy horse maybe? You don't have to be perfect to have value in life ❤
Risey, loves that forlocking brushed, lol! He is so beautiful.❤✌️
Poor Risey heart breaking for Yvonne sending prayers and love ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🌈
Prayers for Risey and you, Yvonne. ❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🐴
Yvonne has done so much research on this since August, and she sees Risey everyday and has all the information given to her by several different vets. It is very difficult for her to be able to communicate all of that information to us. I trust her decisions completely. She will do what Risey tells her to do. She will know what he needs. 🧡🧡🤗🤗🥰🥰🤗🤗🧡🧡
We can be sure about that! 💜
Absolutely.
❤❤
❤❤❤
Ja, absolut, die beiden haben eine gemeinsame Sprache gefunden,
sie werde daher m. E., auch den für sie beide gangbaren Weg finden.
Rising Star has been my favorite ever since you fostered him as an orphan foal. Praying he still has time to enjoy life.🙏 God bless you all.
Please give Risy every chance you can. He is so lovable and has added a lot to your channel.

Thank you!
As amazing and strong Yvonne says, "Perfect".
I could not have said it better.
He's still very much the most vocal horse at Stal H despite being gelded, that's good to see and you are right, definitely a huge improvement compared to the videos in the past. He's jumping effortlessly.
Risey will give you a sign, and your heart will know. Sending you hugs and good thoughts. ❤❤❤🐎🐴🐎
One reason I love watching these videos, is because you are 100% honest about what is going on. We all know this extremely hard for you and your family. I'm sure every night you go to bed, you are thinking of Risey!! Yoour love and compassion is truly a gift to have❤
OH MY GOODNESS!! What a difference, and it's almost like he knows he's getting better. Seeing him running with his tail held high, jumping and kicking in the air broke me down in tears, tears of joy though
Yvonne, We love and support you and any decisions you make because we all know it is truly what is Best!!❤
❤❤❤
Oh yes! So many times wished that to be able to give her an hug! 😊💞🌞
Well said and I'm in total agreement ❤
I definitely see him better now 4 months later!❤
Miracles do happen.. signed Risey❤❤❤❤❤ I will just believe in that and pray for you and Risey❤❤❤❤❤
Amen and I agree with you! ❤❤❤
Amen. With God ALL things are possible, if we believe.
Risey looks happy and healthy and he doesn't appear to be in pain despite his ailment. He can survive this with lots of TIME and TLC.😍😍
Give Risey a carrot and a hug for me. 🐎
Never ever give up...i don't know how many times ive been told this is it. But I've fought and I'm still here yes not exactly perfect but ive survived. Risey will do the same surrounded by the love you give him, the care...he knows and he will get better.x
Me too. I broke 4 vertebrates in my back and was supposed to be crippled. I can now walk to my natural park. So God does heal is in miraculous ways.
Absolutely, I am a witness of that. I've seen horses with Wobblers get better and live long productive lives
Correction: live long productive lives
His coloring is just beautiful. The mane always changes with the light. He's a happy horse.
I'm no horse expert but Risey looks more confident and stable on his legs than at the beginning
4 months and Risey is kicking both feet! Time was good for him.
Yes!
He's grown into such a happy and handsome boy and deserves so much! His moms are resilient, and he is, too.
Yvonne, I am so sorry to hear this sad news about Risey. When and if it is time, I think Risey will let you know. My heart aches for you and Rising Star. Big virtual hug for both of you. ♥💫🤗
wow...what a difference....thank God you followed your heart Yvonne....God Bless all of you...
One of the many things I admire about you, Yvonne, is that you keep your channel real. Owning horses is filled with joy and difficulties, and you always manage them so gracefully. The moderators and the herd will always have your back!
❤❤❤
💜💜💜
Yes ❤️
❤️❤️🌷
❤❤❤
Hugs and love to you.
It's not.
Stop with the references to kill. I do hope the owner is not contemplating this. Poor horse 😢
13:32 Yvonne sending much love for you both and praying for you on this journey 🥰. We are supporting you what ever your decision xxxxx
Thanks to Anne Okkema and Martine for their kindness in taking Yvonne and Risey to the clinic. Very generous of them!
❤❤
He will rise above this! After all his name says it all Rising 🌟 Star!!!
Yes he can! One never knows what strength will come to him! He is a magnificent beauty! 😊🐎🌹🌻💕
I have never went from tears of sadness, to tears of joy, so fast in my life! You're doing such a great job with him!! Sending you love and prayers ❤️
same!
I hope Risey has as much health and happiness as can possibly be. ❤❤❤🐎
I did not expect him to run so well 4 months later! That makes me so happy. I know, far from perfect but in this video he seems much improved! Fingers crossed!!
He looks even more beautiful in the updated video and moves more smoothly. He's a happy confident horse😊❤
You are awesome MoogieB. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
He is somewhat stable right now, keep doing what you're doing. If he is not injured or in pain then wait. Love to you.
Yvonne, if he is not in pain and can stand on his feet please let him live. You wnd he have come so far together.
Horses are the makers of dreams and the breakers of hearts. But to love and be loved by a horse? Worth it all!
❤❤
Sending much love to Yvonne and Risey!! 💙🐎💙
Yvonne I know that this is one of the hardest situations to deal with and I wish there was something I could do to wave a magic wand and make it all go away just know that we love you and we are here no matter what you’ll always do what’s right for your animals,we’ve got your back. NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS they will not be tolerated MOD Shannon.🔥🐎👑🤍🧡
Yvonne, 12:02 you are not unlucky. You are blessed. Risey has been given the best caretaker he could ask for. Stay strong
I cried watching this. I will keep Rising Star, and you, in my prayers. He's such a beautiful horse.
Risey is happy and content. As long as he is comfortable he deserves a life and your love. He’s not only an animal he is Risey our boy❤️. 🎄🎄🎄❤️
Dear Rising Star 🌟 😍 isn’t in pain and is in otherwise good health ❤️🔥 his calm behavior for such a young male during his travel 🚚 and x-rays 🩻 is a testament to the loving care and good discipline that he receives from Yvonne and Stal G.
