Thanks John. In the end I was glad I persevered with it. I plan to catch up with Mark again next time I am in the US and this time I will make sure my audio recording is on point! Also planning to fly into Oshkosh so that will be a fun flight and a great video!

I love the throttle controls over on the left. I’m a professional helicopter pilot and muscle memory makes it feel weird when I try to fly with my left hand and throttle in my right. That’s completely opposite from the helicopter.

The company just changed hands recently and I'm not sure where the new owner is based. Oshkosh is coming up and they may have an aircraft on display there, and may offer demo flights. That is where I did the demo flight in one.

I’m pretty sure it uses 100LL. The 540 has too high of a compression cylinder for mogas.

Thanks Beny. The audio was really tricky with this one and I found that the levels were very different between playing on my phone, my laptop speakers and my headphones so I need to look into how to balance my audio levels better across all devices.
