This particular track was composed by Takahiro Unisuga, who composed a *lot* of the most famous and popular tracks in Falcom's music library. And for good reason.
Good catch on Ys, both franchises are by Falcom. Also, time for me to push the Super Arrange of Gens d'Armes from Ys VIII again. EDIT: Also, yep that is 1 loop. It's a long song for a longer fight.
Masaru Teramae is playing guitar on this. He plays guitar on most of the neoclassical metally songs from the Trails and Ys series from the 2010's. He also have a instrumental speed metal band called Demetori with his brother.
So glad you got to this one, it was on the top of my list of potential songs to request for a while. Gotta be one of my favorite VGM tracks, the choir is absolutely haunting. Also, I'm pretty sure it is just one loop, the part that sounded like a second loop actually had some different stuff going on.
On the rythm itself it's one loop, however the second loop had 2 part where they switch which is the main between Choir and Guitar compare to the first loop.
Oh hey can't wait to actually watch this video and listen to your analysis when I get home lol. I've spent a solid eight months playing every single Kiseki game back to back and I love this series to death and I'm excited to hear your analysis of Kiseki ost! Cheers Jesse, love your work
Yes, so happy to see more Trails! Especially Azure! It's the second game in the Crossbell arc duology, which is the second arc in the Trails series as a whole. All the games are interconnected. I've loved the series since I started playing them in 2015, when at the time, only the first game in the Sky trilogy was available--the second game was going through localization hell and back because these games are HUGE. But the gap here in the west has been closed greatly. I've been playing and replaying the games since. They're very dear to me. Anyway, they all have great music, but I think Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure have some of my absolute favourites in the series. Delusion of 1000 Years is another favourite of mine, also from Azure. Okay, I can pick and choose songs from all the games, but overall I think the Crossbell arc might have my total ost so far. Falcom uses an in-house band, JDK, and have a few composers, so definitely some crossover with the Ys games among their other games, too. And yep final boss all right after a whole lot of trouble. Glad you enjoyed and hopefully more Falcom stuff will keep coming!
Literally just started zero almost done ch2. Sky was a trip. The music in these games is just levels above any other game series imo. Most games will have like their 1 or 2 insane tracks surrounded by ok songs. But every song from a trails game are those insane songs.
Even just the in-game synth version is a hell of a banger. There's a live concert version of this track that's got the main guitar sharing a call and reply with a violin for the main melody. It helps that the guitarist and the violinist are absolute legends.
It isn't my personal favorite track of Trails, but top 5 quite easily. Listening to this song as the final boss loomed over my party was just an impeccable and majestic experience. I loved how you reached Nirvana as the lead guitar kicked the song into gear lol. And those choirs man, choirs always make final any track so much cooler
I see Falcom, I like and comment lol. But really, I'm playing this series now, specifically Trails in the Sky the 3rd, waiting for the Crossbell games to release here in the US (this game and Trails from Zero). You definitely would love a lot of Falcom music. They use rock/metal in a lot of tracks compared to other devs.
Glad you were able to hear this one, love it. Hopefully someone will put "Conflicting Passions" from the same game. The evolution (re-release) version is truly awesome
Damn, what happen to the music in this series? After Cold Steel 2 the music in The legend of Heroes series hasn't been anywhere near as good as stuff like this.
The contractors doing the bands changed and moved on. Composers remained as part of the company, but the band members who are known for their talent has lives to live.

Sad to see Unisuga leave Falcom
Compose by Unisaga and arrange by Jindo the 2 best composer falcom ever had IMO.
@@nesoukkefka1741The best in house Sound Team member and the best contractor collaborating on the perfect Falcom boss theme.

So this guy is Demetori?! It makes so much sense now.

Loved the analysis, yup final boss haha. It's by Falcom so that's why it sounds like Ys same composer!

This is one of my favorite songs from azure, glad to finally see the crossbell arc get some rep lol
I really like the lighting in this video. You look great dude!
Unfathomed force is another great track from this series

For the choir bits especially for boss battles, I always envision both red and grey color palette wise
Fighting Azure demiurgos with this ost was fucking amazing, even tho this boss is so frustrating.
@@ivansolodyankin6820 Hardest final boss in the whole franchise hands down.
@@Akirapoet second hardest for me, Loewe was the hardest for me, and he had a great song too.
this fucking fight man.
epic?
@@JessesAuditorium yes. and very long on higher difficulties. took me almost an hour.

Spiral of erebos from Trails of cold steel 3 is a amazing ost. You should check it.
Little late but the composers that Falcom using brings on are always fans of Neo-classical metal or power.
God I love this song, this boss though... my god this boss though..
One of the rare times where the final boss fits the music perfectly
Aaaah when you said "Sounds like Symphony X" I was like "Yes, yeees this is EXACTLY what I said the first time I heard this".
Falcom music always wonderful~~!!!
I almost remember when the final boss rewind the time to became even stronger nice boss theme :v
Absolutely awesome last boss music
falcom also makes the ys games so if you hear a bunch of similarities between the two titles then that's why
This song is AMAZING
TOP TIER in the Heroes series right here.
Best game!!
I love Symphony X :)

WOAH you're a bit close there...
It's not even the best track from the Azure no Kiseki game, hope there are requests for Unfathomed force and inevetible Struggle(Evo Versions)
concentrate all firepower. seize the truth
