The way Batman has evolved over the years comes from Authors answering fan questions through stories. “What would Batman do if...” and it’s 1 of many reasons he’s my favourite comic book character of all time.
I literally have to pause almost all of his videos because he said something so wise that it speaks to my soul the psychology the philosophy the overall real life wisdom that he brings to these videos is amazing when I come to conclusions of wisdom based off of superhero movies people look at me like I'm crazy they think I'm reading too far into it but the fact that he is thinking some of the same things and providing perspectives I never thought of Is just amazing

He’s a part of the justice league. There are plenty of stories to tell from his perspective even in that form. He has so many contingencies and multiplicities, even an ensemble focused on Batman would be great! Batman forever 🦇😂🤷🏾♂️

Hey Rob. I totally get the idea of the full videos and I just love to have them playing the background when I'm working. It would be doubly awesome to have the individual videos in their own playlists as well though. I personally think the present playlists on the channel are a bit lacking in their structure and organization. It would be great to follow ongoing stories in their own playlist without having to hunt through the videos list because catching up to stories like Death Metal can be such a hustle because the videos are so many with so many confusing titles. This simple change could elevate this already-excellent channel, in my opinion.

I actually had a really good time with this story. I even enjoyed a decent amount of the tie-ins. Especially the Nightwing story. Even, the aftermath of Joker War has been very good.

Isn't Grifter a Flashpoint version of Red Hood? I remember that Flashpoint Batman (Thomas Wayne) met grifter in the movie towards the end, but could it be that Grifter made his way to the main DC Universe from the Flashpoint during the "City Of Bane" story?
Grifter has been around for like 30 years. He was originally from the wildcats series published by wildstorm comics. They had a Saturday morning cartoon when I was a kid it was 90s as hell. Dc brought him in the new 52 after they bought wildstorm.
The most confusing thing about this story is the part where Deathstroke slit Penguins throat cause he knew Batman would save him. So Batman stayed behind to save Penguin so the others could go and kill their targets... That's a weird bit of story telling

I think more realistically the argument about Batman’s no kill policy isn’t “oh they can be rehabilitated.” and it’s more “if they’re gonna get killed it should be a legal execution.” That’s been a theme a few times and I think the injustice line was one of the best cases of that. It’s not that Batman thinks people shouldn’t die, it’s that he thinks that him personally having the power to do that with no repercussions is a bad thing.
