Picked up my HW97K and HW95K from Welsh Willy yesterday after he fitted his tuning kits. Twang gone, smoother cocking and firing. Lovely.
Where in Wales is he?
My standard HW97K is in for a tuning kit at the moment. I can't wait to get it back to try it out and experience the difference.

As someone else said, it's a Snowpeak P35 but with more stuff and actually less money. A real bargain I think. I have the P35 which cost me another £100 on top of this but without the extra bits. It is a nice and light rifle and does actually like to shoot slugs unlike so many other rifles that don't (10g ZANs for me). The only problem with mine is the forend of the stock is a bit flimsy but this one looks to be a lot more robust if they are offering the upfront grip. Buy this over the P35 any day even if you (like me) don't like the blue and white go faster stripey bits.

Great little bullpup for price, well made, accurate think it prefers heavier pellets, shot count was about 140-150 from a 200bar fill in .177, simple to work on and maintain all for a very competitive price

Thanks Andy for another great review. That price is unbelievable. I appreciate it may not have a fully adjustable trigger and maybe some other bits and pieces, but at one third of the price of some well known and branded rifles it certainly seems a great buy. Have a great weekend. 👍

very nice one! i have a .22 in full-power and i love it, shoots JSB 18.1 gr very well. the scope you choose fits it very well, i have a helix 4-16x44 in mine and it's a bit of a telescope

I have watched your reviews for years and always enjoy them. While "SUB-12" is not yet a requirement here in the U.S., your presentations always contain some interesting and useful information. You probably know by now that Stoeger has posted a video on trigger adjustment. I have this little hunting rifle in .22 and it checks all the boxes for me.

Nice gun and powerful
For a £450 rifle it’s ok I suppose. Maybe I’m being a little bit harsh on it but I’ve shot Gamo’s and Kral’s that have grouped better than that. I think Andy might be being a bit kind to it as he always says constructive feedback is better than slating a product.

I have been looking at this one for a little while now and I am still torn between it, and some of the Kral bullpups out there to use as a compact hunting rifle. Seems like the XM1 offers a little more bang per buck.
great video as ever....its a great bargain, it's a restocked SPA P35 that's £100 cheaper with £80-£100 of extras, total bargain well worth getting :)

How many dB do you measure?
@@r.b.6619 I’ve not measured it but it’s not loud and if you put a suppressor on it, I use I have a Weihrauch suppressor on it and all you can hear is the working parts.

@@r.b.6619 yeah can’t fault it it’s not laser like, like and AA, BSA etc but it’s still dead on every time.

warning : barrels on this gun (and the p15, p35 family of snowpeak guns by extension) are known to have gone through a very shoddy crowning process, while might leave the rifling mangled near the end
andy can you get your hands on the barra 1866 lever action. co2 looks good with the changeable barrels..👍👍👍
I like it, I would like it even more if they provided a replacement cover for the forward hand grip that had pic rail to accept a bipod or my preferred magpuls angled foregrip.

Think it would be better if the under the front detachable grip there was an bi-pod mount instead of on the side.
Any chance of a review for the Stoeger S8000E-Tac ? My 7 year old son has now upgraded from a Daisy Red Rider to the Stoeger S3000C-Tac and I am so impressed so far. And well Daddy wants to "matchy match " New to this and LOVE the channel.
Great review Andy, nice bullpup, just cant stand those garish coloured blue and yellow in your face butt pad spacers and grips. Cant stoeger do an all black set, especially for when out hunting ?
Morning all , Stoeger ( warrior ) in English and you can see why the name suits the little bullpup.
High play factor with all those included parts , pain im der arsche mag load ritual. Great little hunting rifle I would imagine especially as you won't be worried about scratching the furniture.

I just checked Amazon which I had done frequently and they are sold out of .22.
I watched them dwindle immediately after your video release. I’m hoping perhaps Umarex will rebrand and release it. Amazon was the only source I was aware of here in the states.
That's got me thinking I'm looking for a side lever bullpup, and seriously considering the Kral empire x, but maybe this

Great video Andy Thanks. Quick question as I was having a good look at some of the rifles from Weihrauch at the shooting show and they were all missing any form of multiload system. Do you know if that is going to be on the cards for future developments of air rifles that aren't PCP?

Just out of interest, the size of the black centre of the target is what size? A 10p piece or a bit bigger?
The small black circle is an inch, outer one looks 3 inch diameter

Nice review but the 40 meters stuff is a bit annoying can we have yards please. New flaming please I just live the UK not france.
I'm 66 english and brought up on £.s.d..no not that kind of lsd, the old money lol, and the old imperial measurments, was a time ( it is still actually law but ignored mostly now.) that all metric money, weights and distances had to be published with their imperial counter parts.
I can just about get away with the metre cos its just a few inches longer than a yard, so you can roughly get the idea, its when they say so many centimetres my brain goes durrrr, l just cant picture them like l can an inch or a half inch, or a foot, we were actually taught the metric system at age 12 in comprehensive school, but it was to late for me imperial was rooted in my head like language, l do in truth have a better idea of a litre or a kilo a kilos about 2 and a quarter pounds, a litre a pint n a half issit,
But l still order carpets in yards, beer in pints, and still get watering cans with gallons marked on them 😂

It looks like it would be completed with a prismatic scope... and a violin-case.
You know how in the world could they put that much time in craftsmanship into a little gun like that that's regulated and not have an adjustable trigger that is ridiculous that killed the whole gun for me when if it don't have an adjustable trigger it's no good
If you like ugly airguns, then this definitely is an option.....

The magazine is straight off the Chinese Artemis P15, useless mag and airgun!
It's a shame you people in the u. K let Your government tell you what pellet gun you can have
Very cheap gun but unfortunately it looks it. The open action and conrods look neat but the moulding around the front rails looks poorly finished and there are much better/tider ways of making a gun adjustable than swapping out gaudy bits of plastic.
There is some junk on the market nowadays.
You can pay an awful lot more and get worse than this...
Hey are well built, I've had no issues with mine at all. Picked up a couple of tins, of Wasp No 1 (4.5mm) when I bought the gun, 18 months ago, for £5 a tin. And on a good day, out to 40m I can get a 20mm group on occasion, the gun consistently shoots those groups when in a vice. Showing that all the bigger groups, are down to the user 😂. As others have stated, it is a p35 action, so takes the p35 mags. Sound wide without a suppressor, my daughter tells me, it sounds like a battery nail gun 😂
