- Doordash totally lied about the mileage on a trip. supposed to be 13 miles turned into 30+
shady.

I was in Austin for a couple of days and was on the lookout for you lol!
@@minisimpalex4342 oh that's cool! Yeah I've been running around like a chicken with its head cut off lol
Come back soon! 😂
Great video. Let go you making money.
@@BiggameTechJourney how's your week going? Yeah it's been good here lately. Easy money
yes 100% they lie, my husband screenshotted one last night. terrible business practice, oh and if you are someone who uses dash. consider not ordering 20mins away from your house where a dasher has to cross 3 cities to get to your house and your only response is “well it was allowing me in the app” we don’t get paid for miles. it’s 2-5$ usually 2$ per drive , that’s it.
@@allissaThacker absolutely. As a customer they shouldn't be allowed to order more than 10 miles away from a store. It's just not feasible for delivery drivers or anyone. Quality of service goes down of course too when you live so far away. Makes no sense!
But yeah they definitely do lie to get orders fulfilled, no doubt
If i accept an order like that i stack an uber eats order and i dont care if im 5 minutes late to either one
You should of called support on that order before you dropped it off and said it was too far
@@TheMadDasher420 and kept their clothes! Unless it was a thong. Don't wanna get freaky with doordash lol
Yeah that was frustrating. Doordash made up for it today with the orders. I got a catering order tonight that was insane
Wow, you're obviously one of the nice Dashers... 73% acceptance rate? I don't think I've had my AR over 50% in years (currently 18% DD, 10% UE, prolly some sub 10% Lyft)
@@txtncnomad6095 yeah I keep it higher so I don't have to schedule, I can just open the app and dash now. Part of me wants to just cherry pick though with a low AR 😄
Can you show the support information of the account in the next video?

I'm curious to know your mileage each day... important expense to consider
@@gregscott110 I'll try to include that for future videos. For me personally, I don't consider it too important since I drive one of the most reliable cars of all time the second gen Toyota Prius. Maintenance is very low on a hybrid. And I bought the car for dirt cheap. And I've run these businesses doing delivery and other gig work since 2018. Miles are your friend come tax time. Lower miles is fine though if you're worried about depreciation because you're financing a car which is a bad idea for this business.
I was always end up on the south side of austin even though I start on the north side. Does that happen to you?
@@darrenhilton7895 yeah when I lived in Pflugerville they'd try to send me to Georgetown or South Austin. Always an extreme lol. Now that I'm in the south they try to get me up to north Burnet often which is ok with me. Don't mind
i deliver in austin as well and used to do sunset valley as well but I do it late at night so downtown is usually my friend. Is money really worth it day time in sunset valley?
@@codyduncan7191 hey Cody, it's only worth it if you use every app imaginable including catering apps. I like to dash in Westlake hills personally because you get some great runs there but you have to be really patient because it can get really slow. Downtown also can be good but I get annoyed by the constant desano orders that's all they send me! 🤣😂
How late do you work?
I serve at night and will usually start right after that. so from around 11 until 2-3 am usually. I started out as only doing doordash about 2 months ago and have had my struggles but eventually got platinum. Woke up 1 morning and decided to try the lunch shift downtown and learned very fast that most all the short 3-4 mile trips only get sent to the bikes and scooters. raged out and dropped my acceptance rate to a 68. next day I completed FOUR deliveries and my score didn’t raise a single point and got off for a couple days. in those couple of days i was taken off the waitlist for instacart and uber eats and it has gotten much better getting to semi cherry pick now. i don’t see how you keep up platinum dasher. hats off to you
@@codyduncan7191 man I can feel that frustration from reading your comment haha. Trust me! I've almost lost platinum downtown LOL 😂 I've had it where I was at a 78 and then they send me sooo many bad ones in a row that I get emotional and don't just end the dash I keep declining! You gotta know when to hold them, and when to fold as they say.
Congrats on getting off the IC waitlist! That's a good little app once you figure out what's worth it. You're a hustler man. Server job is great money 👊
