laggin span has to be above cloud and the conversion line ha to be above the base with a green cloud ahead to enter a long position, this video over looked that part HARD

Any timeframe. But be careful of your HTF bias
I just do Price aboce tenkan and kijun, Macd Above Signal, green cloud and macd divergence

But what if the Cloud Remains Green throughout the day, what is it's implication?
Ichimoku trader is using 4H chart as trend direction--& entry on 15 minute price action. However if on daily chart price is above the cloud, & on 4H chart price is below the cloud. WHICH DIRECTION SHOULD TRADER BE TRADING? Trader holds positions for 3-5 days & IS NOT A DAY TRADER. 4H trend is not going to flip on A dime.Would anyone trade against daily trend & go in direction of 4H trend when entering on 15M price action turning around to conform to 4H trend? Any suggestion/ideas/wisdom is appreciated. Thank you.
Basically the best way is to go in the direction of daily time frame, but when you have a solid 4hrs time frame on your side you can expect a turn in daily time frame too ,it may take time but it's the first indication,
Personally i would suggest a swing in daily time frame and on tha behalf of daily time frame a bounce trade on 4hrs time frame
That's the way to go on ichimoku

what timeframe and instrument were you on -- and has the strat proven to be good over time ?
If all other conditions are on your side, then Laging span has a simple rule it must be above or below the last closing candle depending on your trade direction @kugelblitz

Question - Once you hit your target price with the Ichimoku setup, BUT price continues upward? How do you apply the Ichimoku setup again to set your sell limit in this second leg up? Thank you.
You dont. Just take gains and dont be greedy. Set a TP On 2.0ratio.
You could set a trailing stop and just let price go until the stop is hit.

Time Frame shouldn't matter. Price is fractal, so 1m, 5m, 1H, 1W, 1D -- doesn't matter.

nobody understand how to use ichimoku 5 lines , its not to trade current trends , its to trade futures ones or futurs retracements , and not because of the area projection from the cloud , at all.
Some one should try to "translate" this video to "pseudo" program code.
This pseudo code should provide three things:
a) setup
b) condition
c) what to buy
means:
a) describes which lines, cloud, etc. are visible / used / show
b) describes the condition that must match
c) describes what should bought when the in b) given condition is true
like
a) set up: line x and cloud activ.
b) if (price under line x and cloud strong and cloud is green and ...)
c) buy long
or
a) set up line a and line b active
b) if (price > cloud and ... and ...)
c) buy short ...
Are you someone? Better yet is to translate it to actual code and backtest it ...
