Just in case others have case like me:
When starting Valorant, my starting screen is stuck/freeze (the background video is paused), but the mouse can still choose start button or setting button. The sound effect of clicking the button still activate, though the screen will still be frozen.
My working solution is: Alt+Enter
This will make Valorant enter windowed mode, and in windowed mode, my Valorant working fine.
(After 2 painful days of debugging PC, Windows, resinstall game, antivirus, driver, etc. :') )

Again thank you for this solution bro but i figure it out how to fix it without going again to alt+enter. First go to Nvidia control panel, screenshot or remember all your current settings so that you turn it back after you reset it all to default settings. After that you open valorant , viola enjoy playing at fullscreen. You turn your settings back to your preference after this. Issue fixed.

My problem is so different to be honest there isn’t a single solution on UA-cam for that, it is a problem where while playing Valorant I am performing a certain action or something and suddenly it stops and like it freezes for a second or two in front of enemies it is the hardest
Like umm if I’m moving then suddenly I will come back 1-2 metres back where I was a second or two

I tried this, now it gives me an error everytime I try to open it, it's not allowing me to open the game anymore, I've tried to reinstall it, it won't let me open.

I had the same error and you just have to turn off the strast as administrator and opt. On full screen as it was in default
Did you ever fix the issue by chance if so please can you let me know this has been annoying me for ages and i cant seem to fix it no matter what i do
@@Denaltz u need to go to properties again, under compatibility u need to turn off "run this program as an administrator" it should work if u press apply and then u can start valorant as normal
for me valorant freezes my pc but I can still move my cursor around but can’t open any other applications or do any shortcut commands

@@zanersbananers I turned off hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling on my pc. So far haven't froze since.
You do it by going to settings System > Display > Graphics > Default graphics settings.
my a15 freezes in valorant for 5 secs then restarts automatically what to do??

@@gamingmonster5429 it was an issue of windows update lol, check all your updates like windows, Bios, Driver, etc and your laptop will be fine! No big issues
When I launch valorant it becomes into a full multiple colors of glitches. Does anyone know any solution?

Guys turn off disable full screen optimization it worked for me

for me its the opposite the nvidia gpu freezes, meanwhile the intel iris (xe) doesnt

Just got this issue today after update 22621.1344 on Win 11 (the Bing search bar update), VALORANT is unplayable, LOL and other games seems normal tho.

my problem is that my pc opens valorant and it works just the problem is it has black screeen the whole time valorant is on i can still access all the in game features by moving my mouse and i can even go in game just the display is black the whole time valorant is on it only happens for this game plz help

nothing is working every time the game shows ‘match found 0’ it freezes but when i check task manager it’s only using 5% of my cpu

Do you mean the notification sound? You should be able to change it in your Discord user settings.

My pc freezes only on valornat and when it does it freezes not just the game but the whole pc like the cursor discord voices everything. Anybody know a fix. Can deleting the game help. It was happening ing less and today it just ahpepned like tge whole time I was on the game

guys if you have a problem with your pc freezing and having to manually restart it try turning limit fps off thats how i fixed my problem
The issue is i cant even go to the menu. I open the game, the characters showed up, the sound plays. GeForce showed up too and then everything is blocked, i cant run task manager or anything else. All i can do is restart PC on the button.
Maybe try redownloading and if that doesnt work maybe try an anti-virus tool and make sure you clean your computer of them because they can cause games to freeze at pretty unfortunate times

I think I'm at a lost cause, I tried this, about to check how it performs but my laptop just isn't cut out to performing well anymore. Just an out of date driver I assume and there's nothing I can do about it rn, pretty sure.
My last resort is to completely reinstall Windows. A fresh install can help declutter your hard-drive and prevent too many processes from running on your PC. Make sure to save your important files on an external drive first!
