Don't turn on those cpu settings in msconfig, people think it boosts performance but this is a compatibility setting that may cause issues.

Because the number of processor that's showing on mine is 1 but when I tick the box I noticed I have 4 processors
@@PYREXIAN007 If you leave it unchecked windows will always know how many cores/threads you have and games will be aware of them. The only thing selecting all your processors does is leaves you open to forgetting about it when you upgrade your CPU, so you might not be running all your cores until you turn it off.
msconfig is solely for debugging/testing lower CPU thread counts.
@@PYREXIAN007 My comment was filtered. So short answer is windows knows what cpu cores/threads you have.
Never need to use msconfig for that outside of debugging

Do not listen to this video entirely and be thorough, if you have an Nvidia GPU.
I take some blame on blindly disabling the services, but there are some non windows services you should NOT disable in config. One of which being the service that detects you're using a GPU. After doing this, my pc did not recognize my graphics card and geforce experience wouldn't launch.
TLDR make sure you pay attention to what you're disabling. This guy makes it seem like its totally fine and doesnt mention to restore until AFTER you make changes. It should be BEFORE!!!

A few things, having an animated background and widgets on your desktop really isn't going to help your computers performance. Also, apps will most likely just re-enable their services when they start up, like their update services when it checks for updates, so there's not much point in having those disabled.

I got my new laptop with rtx 3050 and on day one it was getting around 120fps but now after 5 days its getting 70 fps and solutions??

Don't select the amount of processors, you shouldn't be touching that, let windows automate what processors are to be used.
No, I have tested the impact and it doesn’t negatively affect your pc.
@@BareFox It's usually for troubleshooting or experiments. All cores are being used by default. It's not needed to be configured
u have to check how many cores ur pc has first by going to task manager then performance then u can see the amount of cores ur pc has, if it has 10 u can change ur cores from 1 to 10 its ok
@@Plexxivfx_yt No it´s not. All you´re doing is potentially bricking your PC. This feature is for debugging purposes only and does nothing for normal users. windows always starts with all available cores
but mostly the cpu has normal speed and turbo speed, so turning more cores on should be safe when the core frequency is under max. speed?@@Plexxivfx_yt

I am experiencing some bottleneck issues with my cpu. I overclocked it to 4.5 ghz. (it helped a little but not as much as I want it to.) any suggestions?
(I got a rtx 4070 ti and an i7-10700k)
I’m having the same issue. FPS drops to 92 from 360 and then back up.. 4070ti with 7700x cpu. 16gb of ram. Someone said to increase ram so I’m gonna try that tomorrow they got big Fps because the memory is at 45% when I run Fortnite
@MylesNelson yeah you have ram bottleneck. I would upgrade to at least 32gb
Make sure do disable windows updates completely and set all updates to manual. Other than that I got nothing.

@@MylesNelson NOT a ram bottleneck whatsoever. It is a cpu bottleneck, and you would only see a 5% increase in fps and it does improve stability, but the issue is more towards the cpu itself, not ram.

its actually ok if it crashes. you just have to reinstall the windows lol. very easy and quick.
little did you know, the restore point corrupted my system files and spent nearly 6hours trynna fix it, at the end i reinstalled a frech new windows and lost all my files .....@@ftxslyr_

This is obvious thang bout optimizing pcs do NOT download optimize packs from yt videos bruh find legit folks that make tools specifically for what you want the shit to do so say you wanna get rid of bloatwear and optimize your pc get ctt utility its virus free and its ranked top 3 optimizers its also what i used to get my bloatwear gone
SysMain helps to boot pc much faster so why we have to turn it off @BareFox?

yes, that means your cpu has less things to handle in the background, meaning that you have more cpu power avaible to things like gaming, so basically, thats a good thing, dont listen to that other guy

This actually reduced the proccess of my cpu (not that much cause im afraid im gonna brick up my laptop again by disabling a random service) and you should try it out:)
