- We found a 1966 Ford Falcon on Marketplace. Drove 3 hours to see if it's worth saving. Not our usual Hot Rod/Rat Rod style but we like the idea of saving another vintage car. It's been off the road for 26 years.... Is it worth the time and money? We'll see... Join us on this budget build.
I'm with you I think the air breather cover and valve cover look awesome just the way they are! Amazing how a set of wheels can change a look of a car. Great job!!
Thank you. This little car is growing on me
Great video guys. I love the channel keep up the great work
See you at HRPT 24
Thank you for checking out the video. Yes we are signed up and ready to go. See you there!
That old car looks in great condition.
Thank you
Those keys reminded me of my childhood, I saw a lot of those types of key holders then
That’s was definitely a long time ago lol
They always say they had it running. Cool find. He’s a little one, call him Chuck.
Thanks, I thought Chuck also but a good buddy of mine is named Chuck so i felt like it didn’t fit. I have seen the washer bags on some restorations but my first OG.
The Ridge Runners were the older Hazzard County moonshiners before Bo and Luke did it.
Where they really? Thank you for letting us know about that. That’s cool
I got my 66 Falcon rear brake hose from EBay. It came from Argentina!
Lol Really? Funny how small the world has become
That Falcon is in great condition. We had almost the identical Ford here in Australia, except it was a 4 door., I was lucky enough to own one a 1968 GT Falcon 302 4 speed back in the day. A mate of mine here still has an original one with less than 30k miles on it.
Thank you. There’s a lot of the 4 doors still around here. It’s the first 2 door I ever had the chance to buy. I always wanted a fast back one like in the Road Warrior movie.
Decent old Falcon
Thank you. We really like it too. 😎
The keys look right. I remember a key holder like that, either your grandfather or your dad.
How cool thank you
I have a 66 also. I did an LS swap on it and had it on Power tour 2023 also. Let me know if need any parts or got any questions.
Willl do, and thank you for checking out the video.
These mid-late 60's Falcons are popular again as budget muscle car builds, the Mustang was built off the Falcon Platform so ALOT of the parts interchange.
Thank you for the info. I thought that about the mustang but wasn’t sure. It’s definitely a car that’s growing on me every day.
Those are definitely original keys, that's a solid old Falcon are you keeping it stock or hot rodding it up a bit?
Thank you. We were thinking they were the original keys. With all the cars we’ve bought over the years, we are lucky to get the keys at all. Keeping it stock but we’re adding a set of wheels.
Thank you for watching! 😎
@@ridgerunnergarage Having the keys is like spotting a Unicorn with a near 60yr old ride, look forward to seeing what wheels go on this, I enjoy your content so yeah I'll keep watching, Cheers mate.👍
I think Dad had a Falcon, he tought Mom to drive in it. She backed into the mailboxes across from gram and grampas
This one looks like I backed into a few mailboxes lol. Thank you for checking it out.
You can still buy those windshield washer fluid bags for like $25. I’m sure they’re re-pops but they do say FoMoCo on on side.
Great cars had a Ford XT 4 door sedan in Zircon Green here in Australia with an upgraded 302 Cleveland engine still much sought after cars here
There getting to be popular over here to. Thank you for checking out our video.
I have a 93 Ford E150 Club Wagon Van 5.8L. The body is in really good shape. Would you happen to know what pick up truck I can get used, cheap, that I can have the body of my van,put on the trucks chassis without MAJOR issues.?
I think you should sell it to me! lol
😎 Unfortunately we don’t have the room here in the stable to keep it. After we get it together, we’ll definitely be selling it.
Check out my video shorts on my 66 Falcon. We took it on power tour last june just like you two did. Let me know if you got any questions or need any parts.
