I'm so glad your doing this though. We live in Southern NH and go every October. We had hoped to buy tickets to The Salem Witch Museum but you can only order them that day. So we'll wait til next year for that. Even if there's nothing to do. We're happy just to be there. I will definitely say hello 😁
My wife and I were there that morning too! We kept an eye out for you. First time in Salem and LOVED it. I am coming back next year to visit all the site from Hocus Pocus.
Was there Saturday around 4:30 and looked around for you! Way too many people, it was insane! Luckily I was there on Tuesday and was able to do everything.

I was there on Saturday so crowded, parked in front of mall but limited to 4 hours at a time, found out you can start buying tickets at midnight for the witch museum we missed out this trip... we did the trolley was ok headed to marblehead for lunch nice views of the bay no lines. We will come back in a different month love your videos keep up the great work.

This is so fun! I was supposed to go there last year when I was in Massachusetts but we got to busy with other activities. I wanted to go this summer but covid so we will plan next year. Looks cool!
The new covid restrictions will not stop my girlfriend and I from visiting Salem for the first time on Halloween day! It does suck that things will close early and there will be long lines but we are just happy to visit Salem and experience the beauty and history behind it. I plan on proposing to my girlfriend in Salem. We are coming all the way from Seattle Derek! I hope I can still say hi and get a beer with you!
Well you sure gave us a lot to think about. Believe it or not, I have had my suitcase out for 3 weeks now and packing a few things a day because I’m so excited to come there. But....maybe this year isn’t the year. Like you said we have plane tix, and hotel reservations and that’s it. Only coming in for 2 nights, 3 days over Halloween weekend. Ugh, what to do?!?!

I was fine with not getting into the stores. I live locally so I can ship anytime.. I’m just concerned about the amount of people coming from out of state during the Pandemic. I just don’t want MA Covid cases to spike. There were a lot of people this particular day with no place to go.. My camera didn’t do the crowd justice.. It was worse than what it looked like.. 🎃

Well based on your recommendation we canceled our trip this year and rescheduled it for the 1st weekend in October next year. I downloaded the app you said and everything is just selling out and too long of lines. We want to enjoy ourselves and get the full experience of Salem. Plus we saw the past two nights Essex St. was shut down! Crazy!
I obviously love Salem and I would never tell people not to visit but I just wanted to be totally honest with everyone and telling them that this year may not be worth it due to the new restrictions of needing to have reservoir everything.. Every place is running at 50% capacity so there are too many people with nowhere to go.. And like you said they are restricting the number of people allowed in Essex St and closing access points down.. And they said more restrictions will be announced before Halloween.. I was able to secure two restaurant and two tour reservations for Halloween but I may not even go this year.. It’s just not the street party it once was and possibly too dangerous with that many people during a Pandemic.. Next year will rock! Thanks for watching. Stay safe and stay tuned🎃

It was crowded.. Not as bad as past years, but with Covid around and every store, tour and restaurant only running at 50% there was a lot of people with nowhere to go.. Thanks for watching.. Stay safe🎃
I got to Salem every year during October. I went early this year on a week day and it was dead. So I lucked out. I guess now salem is closing stuff down because too many people. I was bummed out that not a lot was going on. No vendors or many decorations. I agree this year was not worth it. I’ve done vlogs myself in past years.

Great video. I visit Salem every October, but not this year. I don't want to spend all day in line. Although Salem is fun, the attractions aren't worth an hour wait with a mask. Then, you can't even sit at a bar. Bummer. 2021 I'll be back!

Peabody Essex Museum and probably hotels.. Not sure if you heard but starting tomorrow if you don’t have your tickets or restaurant reservations ahead of time you will not be allowed in places.. They are also restricting the amount of people allowed in Essex St.. Mayor is telling people not to come.. Honestly if you don’t have tickets for stuff you are just going to be walking around not getting in anywhere.. I had to scramble to get stuff for Halloween just to have a reason to be there.. We just went to salem this past weekend. It was nice and we still had alot of fun. However they are closing all.stores and reasturants.. they do not want the crowds.

I was there Saturday night at 430pm. I was looking for you to get you a beer. I should of message you. Any way I have a question. Were you worried about the crowd. I took my mom who is 90yrs old . I was pushing her in wheelchair. We were wearing masks to protect ourselves, but the people were soo many. Hope we dont get sick?🙁🙁

Well based on your recommendation we canceled our trip this year and rescheduled it for the 1st weekend in October next year. I downloaded the app you said and everything is just selling out and too long of lines. We want to enjoy ourselves and get the full experience of Salem. Plus we saw the past two nights Essex St. was shut down! Crazy!
I obviously love Salem and I would never tell people not to visit but I just wanted to be totally honest with everyone and telling them that this year may not be worth it due to the new restrictions of needing to have reservoir everything.. Every place is running at 50% capacity so there are too many people with nowhere to go.. And like you said they are restricting the number of people allowed in Essex St and closing access points down.. And they said more restrictions will be announced before Halloween.. I was able to secure two restaurant and two tour reservations for Halloween but I may not even go this year.. It’s just not the street party it once was and possibly too dangerous with that many people during a Pandemic.. Next year will rock! Thanks for watching. Stay safe and stay tuned🎃
You gotta go to Jodi Bakes. Right next to the Salem Cinema in the mall. There's always a guy working there in Halloween dressed like Michael Meyers. You can watch him work with a real knife through the window. He'll state at you and raise the knife if you look at him. It's a riot.

I got to Salem every year during October. I went early this year on a week day and it was dead. So I lucked out. I guess now salem is closing stuff down because too many people. I was bummed out that not a lot was going on. No vendors or many decorations. I agree this year was not worth it. I’ve done vlogs myself in past years.

Great video. I visit Salem every October, but not this year. I don't want to spend all day in line. Although Salem is fun, the attractions aren't worth an hour wait with a mask. Then, you can't even sit at a bar. Bummer. 2021 I'll be back!

Peabody Essex Museum and probably hotels.. Not sure if you heard but starting tomorrow if you don’t have your tickets or restaurant reservations ahead of time you will not be allowed in places.. They are also restricting the amount of people allowed in Essex St.. Mayor is telling people not to come.. Honestly if you don’t have tickets for stuff you are just going to be walking around not getting in anywhere.. I had to scramble to get stuff for Halloween just to have a reason to be there.. We just went to salem this past weekend. It was nice and we still had alot of fun. However they are closing all.stores and reasturants.. they do not want the crowds.

It’s impossible to get into any restaurant let alone multiple.. Lol.. 1-2 hour wait? No thanks.. But I would like to have breakfast at Reds so in my next trip to Salem I may get there early enough to do that.. Unfortunately no more bar hopping this season for lunch and dinner..🎃

Just got back yesterday..not much going on..a lot of things closed...
I just went again yesterday abd was able to get into every store. Eat at Rockafellas and do the Salem Witch Museum.. Week days are so much more chill than a weekend.

I was there Saturday night at 430pm. I was looking for you to get you a beer. I should of message you. Any way I have a question. Were you worried about the crowd. I took my mom who is 90yrs old . I was pushing her in wheelchair. We were wearing masks to protect ourselves, but the people were soo many. Hope we dont get sick?🙁🙁

I felt more safe at Disney World last month and on an airplane.. Just too many people with too much stuff sold out or long lines.. I saw tons of non mask wearing too.. It was scary.. I was gonna mention that in the video but some people woulda got all political on this chat area.. Not worth the headache..
