- If I was shipwrecked on a desert isle and could choose only one season of Bonanza to take along, it would be season three. The hilarity, the drama, the camaraderie....

Such a pure family. All the people they helped in their run.
My best TV memories revolve around Bonanza. I was raised on it, and played at ' Bonanza' through the week with my young friends, just waiting for the next Sunday night ( once it moved there, from Saturdays) and the next episode ! Wonderful times growing up, and the Cartwrights were, overall, such good role models !

So love your comment l also grew up with Bonanza lived from week to week. My friends and l made up stories which included us being part of the family. Like you still love it to this day, just watching our lovely boys helps through difficult times. X
@@oliviaperrin1146 Not only do I make up stories, but I post them online !! A little hobby I've had for about 10 years now. They are all Adam centric - about him and his own family - since he was my favorite Cartwright. Of course I realize that Adam isn't everyone's favorite Cartwright so the other Cartwrights are also involved in them. :)

This is a really good clean show, I wish they did more seasons with Pernell Roberts. Rip Ben, Adam, Hoss, Little Joe we will miss you guys

omg. you have literally MADE MY LIFE!!! i have wanted to see a Bonanza montage put to the Homeward Bound theme song since i was a little kid watching the reruns!!!! thank you! You should seriously consider going into marketing/advertising-promoting. Whether intentional or not, the rhythm and tone is set perfectly to each characters moments. i especially enjoyed the more poignant staccato bars for Hoss and Joe and the more adagio moments for Adam and Ben. God and the ending was spectacular! I am a professionally trained actor who depends heavily on music for character preparation. Your presentation was absolutely stunning! Very VERY well done!!!

The only exception being the "Old Cathay" story, which was silly. Nothing matched "The Crucible " and several other episodes were almost as good.
