I doubt it bothered her all that much. The baby was confused; her mother and her aunt are identical twins, and they were wearing the same color shirt. And even at that tender age, the little girl was eventually able to figure out which one was which.

O God, When the baby was with her aunt I thought it was her mother and the other one was her aunt...And I was being happy that she recognized her mother..Later I found that the another one was her real mother...My sister-in-law also has a twin but the fact is my niece didn't make mistake choosing between her mother and aunt..My niece was also the same age as the baby was..

My little brother used to make up his own words as a baby. When he wanted to nurse he would say "kookoo". Sometimes, if my mom was sitting on the couch reading, he would crawl over pull himself onto her lap, say "kookoo", reach in and pull out the "kookoo" and start nursing. My mom would just continue reading. Lol! 😆
One day he realized that other people beside Mama had kookoo, too. He was fascinated and always had to investigate when he found kookoo on someone not our mother. If a relative or woman was meeting my baby brother and wanted to carry him we all waited in anticipation with knowing smiles on our faces. Once the woman picked him up he would immediately reach into her shirt and grab her kookoo. Lol!😄 The squeals of shock and surprise were hilarious and we'd all burst out laughing. He even did it to one of our uncles who was a bit obese. 😂

True story: I was once in a doctor's office when this young kid's mother left him in the lobby acted like she didn't know him, got in her car and went home without him. The kid started to cry thinking he was abandoned only for his Real mother to later come out of the doctor's office to comfort him.
Apparently, what happened was his real mother asked her son to leave the room and wait in the lobby because she had to take her clothes off and then a woman who just so happened to look just like her left from a different office. Not knowing what the kid was talking about she just left but then later when his real mother came out he was happy again. It was the most bizarre thing I had ever seen.
