I get that banning some of the more dangerous ones are for the safety of the gymnasts, but when you have many rules and regulations, it does hinder lots of creativity and progress. Doesn't only apply to gymnastics.

I like today’s routines when done cleanly, but they need to not cap transitions and value cool rare skills higher. Incentivize unique mounts too. They could still be interesting with changes. It did get better from 2016 (when everyone was doing Mustafina’s routine) to 2021 with Suni, Nina, Nastia all very different.

Korbut got a 9,8 for her routine (this was a 9,7), so no, it wasn't. But the routines are performed twice, and while Korbut's second round was clean, she made a huge mistake on her first one, and her score here was not enough to overscore Karin withe two clean routines.

If some weirdo reads this - i have no fucking clue why Karin won
I mean yeah, technic was nice
    The one hand thingy
The lil hedgie between the bars (idk why thats not banned, imagine slamming ur head going full speed there Schumacher style)
    All nice and clean
    But the landing
Mb im high, but i literally chunked a fat Russian HA-HA

Karin was robbed of the AA gold. She was better than Ludmila on 3 of the 4 events with Ludmila only better on floor barely so how on earth could Ludmila win. They came into the AA Finals tied, so had their event final scores been used instead Janz wins by 0.65, more than a fall. So why on earth were the AA scores that different. Was Janz much worse in the AA, Tourischeva much sharper than her event finals routines, or both, or was it purposely cheating to make sure Tourischeva won the AA and not Janz, and once that happened they could score the event finals normal.
