Repeatedly turn off your pc three times in a row and it should boot into automatic repair. from there go to troubleshooting, advanced options and from there you should see startup options, with a cog logo. Click it, and then press F5. It should boot into safe mode from then.
Thank you so much man!! I listened to this video about updating my driver and it made my screen black for what felt like eternity. I just switched the hdmi to another port and that worked.
For me it was the fact that my second display has a resolution of 1440x900, and my main is 1080p. My main was trying to be shown on my secondary, and my secondary display just said "input not supported" in the middle with a black screen around because it's old. The Win + P fixed my issue. Thanks!
What worked for me was to go to control pannel\hardware and sound\ device manager\universal serial bus controllers\usb root hub\properties\power managment\ and uncheck the box "allow to computer to turn off this device to save energy" Do this to all USB and it will fix your issue. I'll make a tutorial about! Have a great life

Not sure if this will help anyone... but somehow, someway one of my cords connected to my motherboard wasn’t fully plugged in. It was loose. Hope this might be one of your problems so it’s an easy fix (just check all cords to make sure their firm and tightly connected)
I had tried these methods but nonee of thee worked. But it might be because of dust or the fact it’s been running for so long. I just had to unplug the monitor cable and back in because it was plugged in for like 3-4+ years. Another way is win+ctrl+shift+B which allows you to restart the drive and basically check for anything wrong
Came here to find solution for my monitors sudden blackscreen, turns out it was the ram, cleaned them before reinstalling them back to the motherboard.I First checked by turning pc on with 1 ram stick installed and the monitor works fine but it turned black when the second ram stick is installed and not just that, both the ram stick on the second slot also gives the same problem the blackscreen so I cleaned the slot thoroughly and properly make sure they are installed correctly and then the second slot works then I installed the ram on the first slot then somehow both of them are not giving me black screen now.

A few days back I switched from an Nvidia GPU to AMD. Mostly my fault because I probably burned out my Nvidia card over time. Didn't think I'd run into black screens with the AMD this early. Even though I uninstalled Nvidia drivers and AMD is up to date, today I got "Display Driver Uninstaller" to clean my system of all Nvidia drivers/etc. So far so good and hopefully it'll all be fine now.
I just got a PC and every time Ioad my games my screen goes black and then says no signal but I can hear anything, my graphics card is an Nvidia GTX 1060. Are they known for these kinds of problems??
@@skrimmage did you find a fix man?:(
Thanks you just got a new subscriber
Well i have this problem, it happens random but more often now.
It´s like this, the card works great, no fps drop and no overheating.
But sometimes when i run a program or a certain game the screen goes black and it sais no connection, and the fans for the card just stops after that, it´s like the gpu just turn itself off.
why is this happening? is my card defect or is it something else? like a program or so?
Hello 👋
I'm facing the same issue. Just wanted to ask how you got it fixed.
@@sijanTHEgreat well it semed that it was because a program i used before that overclocked my monitor screen with faster hz. when i uninstalled it then all my black screens dissapeared :D
The software i used was called OSR (overclock screen refresh), if you are using it then try to uninstall it then maybe it will fix you black screens.
Good Luck :)
I owe you my life
Bruh
Mean while you're pc was just turned off lmao
