How to fix the tranny grind - Redline Lightweight Shockwave gear oil. Put it in. Run it for 500-1000mi. It will smooth out like butter. Trust me. I've done it on my own skylines. Save yourself a lot of money!

@@BobbyOnADuke I don't know much about cars but wouldn't the grinding be the trans (therefore trans oil) and the engine oil is VR1 which wouldn't be affected by the trans grinding? Again I don't know much about cars but my first instinct was the VR1 looked kinda metallic also.

TJ-- Jack's Transmissions in Colorado rebuilds R34 V-160 Getrag 6-speed transmissions-- they did a fantastic job on mine with all new syncros, seals, and a WPC treatment on the gears-- highly recommended!

10:15 yo put in proper racing brake fluid. Castrol React SRF best in the biz for brake fluid. I know it’s not a sponsor, but brake fluid matters on track.

Put dog gears in the r34 if you want to keep that transmission or just go sequential, and if you want to track it, you need to gò dry sump. that's what we do in Australia

1:20 This is the GTR 3rd curse. It happened in my GTR-33. The 2-3 shift was impossible to hit right. It was my slave cylinder. Replaced it and never got to drive it again. I got an offer I couldn't refuse and sold it.
