i bought this same laptop also. i spent $120 on the laptop on ebay and spent another $40 on 16GB of ram and a new battery the laptop did not come with a battery installed. i love it, its very light and thin battery has lasted all day. i play to upgrade the sata ssd sinces its much slower then a nvme
i got this model with touchscreen, the battery issues is terrible. ended up having to remove the battery for the PC to work properly. when the battery worked fine, the battery life was excellent.
I got the i5 version 2 in 1 version of this laptop, with 16gb of ram. I like it a lot, if you aren't familiar with Dell's refurbished site, that's where I got mine. I believe the i7 version has upgradable ram, but only runs in single channel, whereas the 2 in 1 is dual channel but soldered. Also, not sure if its more of a 2 in 1 design, but my laptop charges via USB C and doesn't have a barrel jack. Dell Refurbished is apparently very good at replacing the batteries if you have issues and order through them.
sounds nice! the 2 in 1 isn't really my thing but I know other people love them. And mine does charge off usb C as well so I use that quiet a lot. if I replace the battery i'll prob just order one on ebay for $25 lol.
@@ArkansasMediaGroup One note about the charging too, this model is apparently notorious for battery swelling, people say the harm comes from the constant docking and using the laptop fully charged while plugged in.
