An interesting story of Arnold. My brother met him many years ago when he was governor of California. He actually spoke to him very briefly as he was greeting a crowd. Anyway, fast forward a little over a year later. He saw him again and when Arnold saw him actually said “Hi, Glenn”. He remembered my brothers name from over a year before prior. I don’t know if 1. Arnold has the memory of an elephant 2. He’s got a guy talking in his ear with pictures of everyone Arnold spoke to on his last visit so he can pretend he remembers them. OR 3. My brother, in some way, embarrassed himself leaving a lasting impression. So much do that Arnold can’t forget him no matter how much therapy he gets. Not a bs story, really happened. And I really do wonder how he could remember the name. It’s not THAT common for it to be a mistake, like he was talking to the guy behind him.
It's something he does deliberately. He makes it a point to remember people he talks to. His hand shake everything is part of his M.O. Think about it... He immigrated here as a teen-twenty something. Ruled the competitive bodybuilding world. Was huge in movies for over 20+ years. He was a Millionaire before then, before Thirty. Married into the Kennedy clan. Governor of California. That's what makes Arnold great.

Thanks for the info!
Loved your guys reaction...I just joined your club so I look forward to more of your reactions...if toni hasn't seen any of the lethal weapons, you should definitely have her check them out
Thank you! And welcome to the channel!
Rocky and Bullwinkle had Boris and Natasha.
Thank you, David finally remembered the show. - Toni
If you'll forgive a little segue to another massively fun action movie, give Demolition Man a try (at least, it's got an Arnold reference)
That would be a good one! 😃
florida has more than one highway like that, though this is the longest.
That's cool! Thanks! 👍
the government had good gps in 1994. there was a civilian version, but it was intentionally screwed with to not be more accurate than... i forget how far, at that point
I remember the first time I used a GPS in like 2000 and thinking it was incredible. I didn't need to print out directions from Mapquest anymore! 😂
If she hasn't seen it already, I think she would enjoy Knight And Day starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
Thanks for the suggestion!
You need to start selling "I don't know" merch . . .
😂
Whoa Whoa Whoa, where are people watching true lies, is it streaming on prime again? one of my fave movies ever and there is still no 4k disc release for it : P
Blu Ray! 😜 - Toni
Another great reaction guys, keep it up and I can't wait for the next one, thank you!!!
Thank you!
WHEN THEY WERE BUILDING NEW BRIDGE EXPANSIONS IN THE KEYS THEY USED THE OLDER PARTS TO DESTROY FOR THE MOVIE.
That's cool! Thanks for the info!
Great flick
👍

Good point!
47:30 The Nice Guys (2016) is a fun movie. it's not quite as over-the-top as true lies, but it does have action and does have comedy. ryan gosling and russel crowe.
Added it to our list! - Toni
Pro Tip for watching movies: Movies require what's called "suspension of disbelief".
😂 So true!
16:50 that was my reaction too when my wife asked me to check my phone...haha..no secrets babe... just plain life..
She's welcome to see how boring my life is if she'd like. 😂
Jamie Lee Curtis was the hero in this movie. No doubt. She is the only person on earth who could take on Michael Myers, and slap the shit out of Arnold in the same decade.
😃 - Toni
35:31 toni saying "whaaaa?" without saying whaaaa 😆
🤣 - Toni
Well, in the elevator, at least the horse didn't fart.
SO TRUE!!! 😂 - Toni
Perhaps the best film without a sequel…I wouldn’t mind 1 🎉. I’d prefer T 3 over Eraser
A sequel to this would have been cool! We may have another poll at some point for more Arnold movies. 😃
Cool cool
42:22 awwww 🥰🥰
almost cried. looks like i'm gonna lose $10 on True Lies.
🤣 - Toni
13:41 "i don't know."
toni is so empathetic. 🙂
That she is. 🥰
re: not that easy to tear a dress:
you'd be surprised
👍
Hey are you guys planning to react to the marvel movies
I've thought about that but I'm not sure. Toni has seen some of them but doesn't remember which ones. We may at some point though. 😊
@@popculturallychallenged she would love seeing how they’re all connected. I think she’d love tony stark too
Seriously if I had that key Id probably threw it on the side of the building
I don't think I would have shown up...... She was brave! - Toni ☺️
22:52 Rocky and Bullwinkle
24:25 the moment the pathways of the brain connect
You could see David's lightbulb turn on. - Toni
"just go with it, its a movie"...
Well there was an attempt at least.
🤣 - Toni
@@popculturallychallenged People like us just can't help ourselves 😂. Gotta point out all the irrelevancies lmao
Dana is Faith the Vampire Slayer from Buffy & Angel, as well as star of Tru Calling and Joss Whedon's Dollhouse.
His buddy is Tom Arnold, Roseanne's ex-husband and business partner.
The villainess featured prominently in one or both of the Wayne's World movies.
Thanks! 😃
17.5 for a vette that nice makes you wonder what's wrong with it...
Yeah, even in 94 that would have been a good price. 😃
