- Riding APPALACHIA, a Motorcycle Adventure with Amazing Roads, Scenery & Camping in this great Region. In this 7th episode of our trip to the Appalachian Mountains, we wakeup after an amazing night sleep while camping at the Linville Falls Trailer Lodge & Campground. We decide to stay an extra night so we can go explore with the bikes free from extra weight. After a great breakfast at the Famous Louise’ Rock House Restaurant 1:56, we ride just a few miles to the entrance of the Linville Falls trailhead 2:56 where we trek to this amazing waterfall. Without a doubt, one of the most espectacular waterfalls in all of North Carolina. After our hike, we get back on the road and head out to Pisgah National Forest where we jump on a super fun dirt road call Old NC 105 4:53, which will take us to the popular Wiseman’s View and the Linville Gorge Wilderness 7:12. Considered by many to be the Grand Canyon of North Carolina, this site has some of the most breathtaking views in all of Eastern North American. After a very enjoyable time taking in the magical beauty of these mountains, we get back on the trail where we encounter more amazing views from the road 11:55. As we reach the end of the day, we retrieve back to camp where we cook another great meal under the stars 13:37. Just another beautiful and amazing day of riding and camping.

Old #105 which runs Linville Falls up to Wiseman’s View and back down to Lake James has some great views. Lots of camp sites, too. In the Spring when the all trees are budding and in the Autumn, it’s spectacular. It’s a rugged road, and requires off-road oriented rigs. Once saw a Prius trying to traverse it 🤞
He also does a fantastic job at cooking while camping with a motorcycle. Good job Carlos and Ronny. Cheers
Thank you so very much Amigo 👍😉
I always enjoy watching! Carlos does a very good job editing these videos!
I appreciate that Amigo!
Great job!!

👍👍👍 this was amazing! I live near the Outter Banks, I have a 2000 klr 650, tkc80s. I really need to get out to Pisgah and ride the trails there
Nice video captures the spirit and essence of ADV riding Great sights Great friends Great food!!
Glad you enjoyed it Amigo 👍😉
I’ve seen a lot of these videos even lived in those mountains for 6 months but I’ve never seen this waterfall wow amazing video
Thanks for the update! Ride safe Amigos! Great video, as usual.
I love to escape my urban grind through your fantastic videos, thank you amigos!
Thank You for staying tuned Amigo 👍
What time of the year was it? Just moved to NC in the winston-salem area and gonna start riding. Excelent video.
Nice to see that you offer another perspective on what an “adventure” might look like by also doing some hiking! The great thing about America is u can go to a restaurant and get all the calories u need in one day, in one meal usually. Not kidding, it really keeps the weight down on what u need to carry, I just bring snacks and forgo all the cooking stuff when I camp. Also nice to visit some of these small towns and support small businesses and the locals are a great resources for advice and on where to go and what to see.
I enjoy your videos. Great editing!
I hate to repeat the previous comment, but I always enjoy watching your videos and can’t wait for my Tenere 700 to get here so I can continue my adventures.
I sold my KLR 2 months ago and I’m going crazy waiting!!! Would like to go on a trip with you two...
I’m Starving!!! Lol...
Sounds great amigo. I can't wait to get my hands on a T700. Send pics when you can. Thank you for watching 👍😉
@@RideOnAmigos I'm in central Florida,we can make that happen...
Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to live 20 minutes away from these places. I gotta get another bike 😫
I'd love to know next time you come to the area. I have hours of gravel road to tell you about. I was lucky enough to cut my teeth dual sporting on 105. It can get sketchy from season to season.
Would like to join up for a ride this spring. I have my first adventure bike. And live near these places but never visited
Love the drone footage !!!!
You guys eat like Kings!
Part of the movie Last of the Mohichans was filmed there near Table Rock.
What is the great music at minute 4:00? Thanks again for another great vid!!!- Ray near Durango, CO
Carlos, this is the area my son and I and my son in law rode on in May. What road were you and Ron on going to Wisemans view?
I believe its call Old NC 105

Thank you. I checked out my Topo maps and I believe that’s it. A group of us are headed there in the fall.
Looks Cold
The Rock House and no mention of their famous fried pies?
Videos like this are the reason why I no longer watch TV.
Do you by chance have a gpx file of this route you'd be willing to share?
Guess they didn't. Since it's Linville falls, gourge and Table Rock they're pretty much on the eastern TAT beside the Blue Ridge Pkwy. I'm a pavement rider, and go to Linville for the hike.
@@STho205 Guess so. Since I posted that question, I've been up there a couple times and have most of that routed now. Fun area to ride!
@@josiahpayne8076 agreed
what size bikes are you on?
I believe Carlos is on an R1200GS BMW....not sure about Ronny.
