My 9-5 Diabetes Educator Job | NP student

Here is a short vlog of my typical day as a diabetes educator. It's quite different from working 12hr shifts in the hospital on the medicine floor. My role consists of consulting patients on the floors, gestational clinic phone appointments, gestational zoom classes, and following up with type 1 and type 2 diabetes patients. We work closely with 4 endocrinologists. I also work with another diabetes nurse. The clinic is quite small but I am really enjoying it and learning a lot!
