HI GREAT TO HEAR IT SOLVED YOUR ISSUE FOR NOW !! IN MY EXPERIENCE I WENT DOWN THE SAME ROUTE AND DEPENDING ON THE MILEAGE THIS WILL ALSO FAIL WHERE AS THE WELDED ORIGINAL WILL NOT !! PLUS A CHEAPER FIX ! THANKS FOR THE COMMENT BUDDY AND GOOD LUCK RIDE SAFE 👍🏻
can you provide some details on how to weld this? do you use stainless wire? also when welding is the assembly in the middle position? or forward locked position? great vid. thanks.
Hi no he only does exchange as you buy one from him he takes small deposit via pay pal until you send your old one to him then he refunds depo hope this helps
Great video mate ! Quick question my gen 1 Busa has a rattle when she’s running in neutral and when I pull the clutch lever in it stops, no issues with it other than that, figure that mod would correct it? Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦!
Hi no the mod wouldnt fix this ! It sounds like you first port of call you should check the clutch plates for wear if these are in spec then check the clutch basket for wear .The symptoms you describe are pointing this way .Hope this helps please let us know how you get on 👍🏻
I would recommend that you dont as the inner section of the clutch centre is in 2 halfs and needs to be welded in an offset position for it to work if that makes sense . We did leave a link as to where you can get this done professionally. Hope this helps
I need to do this mod on mine as I have that same problem of the clutch biting /grabbing when trying to pull away fast. Sitting in South Africa though so would probably have to get mine welded locally. Question is if it must only be tig welded or can it be mig welded too?
No concerns at all this set up has been tried and tested for years as the same mod is used on the TLS 1000 and TLR1000 also .A number of race boys use this same mod in the hill climb series .Suzuki developed this set up as there first attempt at a slipper clutch and although this works when the engine is new, as mileage goes up so does the wear factor and the system fails!. welding these parts totally eliminates the clutch ramp mechanism and so cures the problem of the jerky effect while performing a fast launch (or slow)
Only do this mod if your bike will not fast launch and makes a judder!!! Motion !! As this mod eliminates the slipper clutch on your bike allowing you to fast launch from stand still ! Hope this helps
Thanks for sharing make sence and hoping we can order from you? I have the same problem and i found this and simply identified the problem. Greeting from philippines
Unfortunately this is not available from us directly but the link to where you can get it is in the videos description however I'm not sure he will ship to the Philippines but worth asking😉thanks for watching👌
Hello I have a question , I have a problem with my hayabusa maybe you can help to figure out what ot is , when I squeeze tha clutch she doesn't disengage, and soon i put it in gear she dies
Hi Marco so if im reading you right you put the bike in first gear release the clutch and the bike stops running ? If so could be a faulty side stand switch ? hope this helps
The Gen 1 hayabusa is the lightest of the three models ! That is the sportiest proof. Gen 1: 244 kg (equipment weight) / 175 hp Gen 2: 266 kg (equipment weight) / 197 hp Gen 3: 264 kg (equipment weight) / 188 hp
This mod has been done on my turbo busa as well. For the love of all things fast and holy...use a torque wrench mate. I know you know your stuff but your credibility tanks when you tighten a critical nut using the ugga dugga method. lol
You YT mechanics are all the same, cut the vid when you come up against a problem instead of showing how it took fkn hours to do it at your leisure. Joe public now thinks it can be done in 14mins...
@@KeepItWheel You missed the point but fair enough, is that a Black Widow exhaust on your bike?, im just about to pull the trigger on one of those to try get some weight off this RZ pig i've had for 14years its like driving an Artic in traffic now im much older.
keep doing the Hayabusa vids. big help for Hayabusa riders cheers.
Thanks for your kind comments! We have a few how to videos coming up but please suggest any you would like to see! Thanks again👍
I bought a locking aluminium spacer to put behind. (UK company) Does the same job and easy to remove if you want the slipper clutch back.

Hi, the part requires precision welding and is done by a guy called Sam Matthewman link to him is in the description. thanks for you comments👍
@@KeepItWheel I've asked him before. He wouldn't give any advise.

Can you weld this your self? What kind of metal is it made off?

I would imagine though that Suzuki designed it in 2 pieces for a reason.. any concerns about turning it into a solid unit?
