Ford Expedition INTERIOR LED Swap | 2007 to 2014 Expedition | Dome Light Replacement

In this video I'm going to show you how to install led lights into the interior of your 2007-2014 Ford Expedition. I also have 2007 Expedition Eddie Bauer model and I cant figure out how in the world to change out the visor vanity bulbs....!! I cant find anyone that has the same kind of vanity mirrors that i have...

Just did my 2014 Navigator, discovered complete removal unnecessary (accidentally). Access the tabs behind glasses holder using plastic blade that came with bulbs kit just remove the light cover by releasing the tabs and the moon roof switch cover by its tabs. Using needle nose pliers grab the bulb gently and wiggle it while pulling on them and they will easily pop out. Use pliers to install led bulbs with correct polarity. Caution: old bulbs will be HOT so have a safe place to put them where they will not melt or burn anything. Fortunately I had the AC on so I held them in front of the vent for a few seconds and they cooled quickly. The middle map lights have the tab you mentioned but it is offset from the center one. Using a special tool (butter knife) it popped out easily and again removed bulbs with pliers. The rear one at the lift gate is a different animal, nothing easy about it so, good luck on that one. I was scared I was going to smash the bulbs with my pliers so if you got em good job haha the rear ones weren't built to be replaced

OR .... OR .... one can remove the entire light/glasses case assembly, which is only held in by tension clips and pulls right out without the risk of breaking tabs.

What about wrapping duct tape on the bulbs and pulling them out instead of removing the whole housing?

I have no idea. I don't think there is even an option to dim them.
