Not sure where you were and who you were told by, but I personally know 2 bodyboarders that go out on double red flag days regularly and never have an issue.

So Destin. Fortwalton. this beach It sucks. If you are a bodyboarder and have professional gear they will not let you go in the water.

They can't keep you out of the water if you have fins and a leash.
@DikDastardly If you have leash and fins, there should be no issue. I go out on double red flag days with no problems from the lifeguards.
