So happy I've found your videos, very informative and it's great getting multiple perspectives 😉 One thing that makes Court intrigue great and you guys didn't mention is that going to Conspire with it essentially let's you "try again" - you can first resolve the board space and take the intrigue, and then swap it if you don't like it. It's pretty nifty 😎
Great content as always! One small critique for blackshadow - a little concision goes a long way. Some cards were quite belabored with things about "base game" or super specific scenarios. That said, really enjoyed this and look forward to the next one!
Lurv this series. My group def hits Emperor track way more with Ix than we did with Base. With no melange exchange we fight over Wealth and Smuggling, and of course, Fold Space, the first 3 ish rounds. The Swordmaster must be got.
For the most part, your playgroup is liable to be fighting too hard over Wealth. It’s going to take a minimum of 3 agent placements to acquire enough Solari for a swordmaster, and for this minimum requirement in Rise of Ix one of those agent placements must be smuggling (or interstellar shipping) down for 5 solari (giving each opponent 1 solari) unless you’re playing Rabban or Ilban in which case the extra cash potential from signet or starting resources can reduce the minimum number of agent placements to get the cash (in which case sending an agent to Wealth is uneeded). Since this most efficient path to swordmaster money requires 3 agent placements (and a 4th for picking up the agent) it’s most optimal for one player in a 4 player game to get swordmaster money off the 3 dividend solari and one trip to smuggling or wealth for the remaining 5. This should save the last player picking up their swordmaster 2 agent placements (worth one Victory point of value in a vacuum). Going to the Wealth space should be reserved only for the first player or two in the first two rounds to try saving up swordmaster money and for solari based point scoring engines (Yuna, for example) in later game stages. Outside of a swordmaster rush sequence or a solari based scoring engine Wealth is, mathematically, the absolute worst location on the board in terms of point scoring potential. Going here more than once a game will seriously handicap your scoring potential outside of some extremely niche set ups (or just Yuna in a more general sense).
@@jeffreyculbert2093 thanks for the detailed reply Jeffrey, much appreciated. Are you playing in the Golden Path tourney? I'd like to watch some of your gameplay.
I think you have kinda ignored the point that Appropriate’s buy bonus and symbology contribute to you having both money and Emperor influence. People often go to smuggling at least once, so one trip down the shipping track and you have both
Couldn't the same be said of the majority of board games? Or all sorts of stuff? It's not meant to be the most serious take on the ranks as there's so many subjective takes on them.
The rankings may change but hearing the timing/scenarios/leader-synergies for each card is valuable and will carry over to the expansion. And if they have to revisit with an update video to let us know that Scout is number one after it’s grafted to a sandworm, then lucky us.
Great to see you continuing this series. Looking forward to more, all the way to the Nr 1 card!
There was a couple surprises towards the end of this list...
Finally, I've been looking forward to this one for the last week!
Part 4 pretty please?
It was always on it's way, promise!
Great video! I cant wait for the rest of the list. :D
i have been waiting for this great video , i hope you release your full lists at the end of the series
Thank you! I will!

Yeah, pairs nice with conspire though the infiltration is rarely used there. Defo can make those spots more attractive.

It's easy to go down the rabbit hole in this game...
Cool to see another vid!
Oh yeaaaa, was looking forward to it! :) Will try to make the best out of it, now that I've joined the ttsclub!
Thank you for sharing your expertise!!

It's defo a way to do it and if you make a push on that track early, you don't all that often get serious competition.

Jay, was waiting for this! Just got crushed on Sunday in a D:I game, so i can use some help :-)
Cant find the last video, is it uploaded somewhere else? Thanks for the work.
We're up to number four, at this moment. 5 is taking a bit due to the tournament.
lol, just realized that higher number is worse :D
I'm.being thick. Court Intrigue, why is putting an Intrigue card on the bottom without drawing one good ?
You get to redraw a different intrigue card with the effect
yeah, you basically exchange an intrigue for another random one which is pretty nice to do.
Oh yeah, I missed the image of the Intrigue card at the end. Being thick as I feared 😁
I rated this one a tad high.

That's a good point. I'm not in love with its access, but if you get it and abuse shipping, you're golden.
I have to disagree on your Rating of full scale assault , i would argue that it IS better then a Spice must flow If you get this in the midgame
Which is why Patience and I have it so high. I really like the card but yeah it's generally time sensitive right?
I totally expect some to disagree with me, I knew that going in. I rated it lower than needed but still not a fan of it.
Finally! :D
When you are ready with this new expansion will vome out and these ratings will no longer matter

Are you saying that I'll have to create MORE CONTENT???!!
@@hidden-assets O.O
@@hidden-assets always. Some more What the Flop would be great.

Any hope you will do the same for uprising 🫣
Perhaps!
